How does your game fit the theme?
Joined Together - Your ship is comprised of multiple, individual modules that can be attached to your ship at any spot. This means your outermost modules will take the most damage and your innermost modules will be safer, however you can rearrange your modules at any time my jettisoning individual modules and reattaching them to different spots for different configurations. NOTE: Unfortunately there is a critical bug in the jam submission that causes enemies to stop spawning in Sector 6, you cannot progress past this point at this time.

Died on sector 5. Loved it ! Everything feels so easy to understand, gameplay is really smooth, it feels like a full fledged game already !

Is there an ending?

Developer

There is no ending. It was designed (for the jam) to be an endless roguelike type of game. We will see what it turns into post jam!

I LOVED this game. Everything about it I love, the visual design, and the general gameplay loop were really well made. The way your ship goes from a tiny space truck to a giant mobile mega city with guns. This game was heaps of fun and I hope to see more from you in the future.

Developer

Whoa! Thank you so much for the kind words!

This game offers decision making, tight commands + space controls, and plenty of juice.

The content and quality were easily enough to make me play it through to the end.

I had a similar idea of module-joining spaceships. So as a fellow space fan, this game was  perfect.

Developer

Thank you! Really enjoyed your game too

The game is awesome!
I really enjoyed it, great idea, fun execution I really liked it. Warp effect was especially cool!
I found it great that you could target certain parts of enemies it felt like some real time VATS system from fallout. The presentation aspect could be worked on a little bit more (other that warp, warp is awesome) but it still serves the purpose well. I wish I could see this idea expanded even further in the future. Great game overall.
I have one question though, was I supposed to be able to move out of the first tutorial room with the turret joined? because it felt like I'm squezzing through and felt like I cheated the system, but that's maybe just me patting myself on the back.

Btw. I'm really dumb, because I destroyed my Warp cell in tutorial.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Regarding leaving the tutorial room, it was designed to encourage you to learn the jettison feature, but we didn't quite hit that design goal as well as we had hoped.

Also, its ok. You're not the only person to do that hehe

This is a gem! It seems so polished for 48 hour work time. Definitely reminds me of Faster than Light and the quality of life things like pause and "target all turrets" make it even more fun! The Visuals of the Control Compartment could be improved but thats a thing you wont nitpick on in a game jam submission. I personally love it, the best game i have rated so far!

Haaa yes, reminds me of "Captain Forever". Very fun. I've made it to the level 7!

I had some weird issue though, I think I could only move in diagonals.

Well done, this is an impressive game to be made in 48 hours!
