so much reading and the resolution is super low on the hud
Sad you didn't like it, but thanks for the feedback anyway
I really love the concept, and once I stopped dying almost instantly I had a lot of fun with it!
It really sucks when I misclick and the ship doesn't make it to a new planet and I just have to restart since there's nothing I can do, but other than that, I think this game was really, really good.
Nice work!
Thanks for the feedback, I glad you enjoyed the game!
I'm not very good at this type of games, but I do appreciate the art style and the clean UI. Good work!
This game is promising, but I found it a bit too punishing and quickly paced. These games are up my alley, so if it were a bit slower, even just at the start, I reckon I could get absorbed in this. But still, great work!
Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely look at the difficulty problems in post-jam polishing
Really good. A kindred hard-game-type jammer :)
I really dig your execution. I think it needed some "finale" to work towards besides "just" upgrading your ship. I only got to T3 colonies though, so not sure if there was something beyond that. The gas went to zero really quick.
I also found out you could "Cheese" it when you were in a positive state by just sitting on your income.
Thank you very much! Tier 3 is the final tier, there is not so much late game content right now. And about the "cheese"... to be honest I didn't think that this is pretty easy to pull off, but I see some people doing it just fine, maybe I just not very good at my own game lol
Cool game! It's cool that you were able to build a resource game in such a sort amount of time. I really liked upgrading the spaceship, upgrade games are satisfying.
Great job! I really enjoyed the art style in this one and the concept of space. Managing your ship and resources was tricky but interesting. Overall this is a great entry for the jam. :)
Definitely a little tricky to get your head around at first, but, once I did I found it incredibly engaging, it's a super interesting take on resource management, strategy, and speed. I think you have a real gem on your hands here! Great job!
Thank you for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed it
Really interesting way to balance a resource management game! I liked jumping from planet to planet and slowly building my network.
Excellent game, a bit difficult to learn at first, but nothing to complain about, it is interesting, original and has its own taste.
Well, the only thing I would make a point is that when you establish a good economy you don't have many incentives to be moving around, you just win.
Edit: I just realized this could be used as a philosophical demonstration of the risky and expansionist conduct of humans.
Thank you, I glad you liked it! There is no win condition yet. To be honest in my playtests I never managed to create stable economy and I thought every your action will throw you out of balance and demand to do something about it but it's fine I guess
The game starts out pretty complex for my small brain, but after you figure out what you need to do such as prioritizing certain resources, it becomes pretty fun managing your planets and stuff. However, once you reach an equilibrium with your resources where the resource rate is positive for all types, it becomes a bit boring. Maybe some more end game stuff or incentives to keep exploring? Overall, solid game with an interesting take on the theme that I haven't seen much of!
Thanks for the feedback, I glad you liked the game! There is no much late game content or win conditions tight now but I'll add them later and balance existing buildings and upgrades better.
The art is really good, and the game is fun after you get a good chain going. It is very hard to learn at the beginning, but a few tries go a long way.
Thanks for reply, the game really lacks a tutorial right now so it's fair to say that it is very hard for a new player. Glad you liked the art tho!
The game is fun but i was struggling to learn the basics. Didn’t really saw any tutorial or anything like that, but the base game’s idea was really cool! In my opinion you should take this game into more development, and release a full version of it! Great job!! If you have some free time, can you give my game a try too?
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate this! The game definitely lacks a tutorial right now, I added a few tips but I it's nearly not enouth as I see by the replies. I will continue development and gonna release it some day. Thanks for the feedback. And of course I'll try your game too ;)
Interesting concept, though the game lacks a proper tutorial. The audio choice is good and the art is beautiful. The planet colors do give you some hints about what the possible resources are, so it a bit easier to play. Controls are simple and intuitive. Overall nice work!
Thank you for your feedback. Indeed tutorial would be helpful
Really enjoyed playing this. The art is great and although it takes a second to figure out the premise has a lot to offer. I do think one or two steps could be taken to make it truely an "hours of playtime" kind of experience. Some benefit to connecting planets back to eachother, making a network and not a line, would be cool, and I don't see why this couldn't be turn based, considering how much pausing I had to do not to die right away :P.
But hey, it's a gamejam, you're not gonna get everything worked in, and for a gamejam this is super impressive!
Wow, thank you for your feedback and a kind words! I am fully agree with you on the turn based thing, the game is like this because it was somewhat different idea in the beginning and later it became more strategic game than just fly from point to point kind of concept. And I'll definitely think about connections to already visited places.
I will continue development and take what you said into consideration, thank you again <3
I hope to see it. Legitimately exciting game to continue working on!
Addictive game :)!
Nice execution of such a good simple idea
Thank you
nice idea!
So addictive! Could play this forever! Definitely worth developing further. Very dope!
Thank you for your kind words! Really appreciate it <3
Amazing! Extremely detailed and impressive, though a build-in tutorial would have been helpful
Thanks! I agree with you on a tutorial, unfortunatly I coudn't implement it in time
