I loved the lil character flip when I turned as well as the sword swipe. There was a moment where I got stuck in a rock when I was attacked by an enemy, then his brother came around the corner and battered me to death xD
I had no idea there was a "health" system in the game until one of the mobs dropped a heart, or perhaps I didn't see the health bar anywhere, I feel this is information that should be known to the player especially if multiplayer is the core mechanic of this game
But alas, it's truly a unique game, well done on making a multiplayer in 48hrs!

How does your game fit the theme?
The main mechanic of the game is co-operating with friends, joined together on the island. The monster's heads are also, well, joined together.

The visuals of the game are great! I like the effect you did when the character flips. I also like the music!
The enemies were hard to hit as we had align the player to the side of the enemy, and since there was a crosshair I thought that we could attack in any direction if the enemy is in range but it turned out to be different
Multiplayer games in jams are quite rare so it was a surprise seeing a game with that as the main mechanic, but that kind of back fired as the game feels empty when played singleplayer, and most of the people will not be trying out the multiplayer.
Overall an amazing entry to the jam! Great job!
Wow its amazing you guys were able to make a game with online multiplayer! I didn't actually run into anyone unfortunately but I had fun running around hacking dragons! It would be cool to add pickups and ranged abilities in the future!
The game looks really nice, the music is bopping, and the controls are pretty smooth and fluid. If you're planning on improving this I could suggest to try adding some sort of UI, its pretty hard to tell things like current HP. The hitboxes felt a little bit unforgiving, I thought I was hitting the snakes but I wasn't, but then when I come close they hit me so the range is a little small. But overall it was cute and fun to try out (also setting up the multiplayer in 48 hours is impressive!)
Thank you so much for submitting you game to this jam XD. The game reminds me of Sea of Thieves. Where you explore an lush, beautiful world. However, without multiplayer, the game feel quite lonesome and shallow. Besides that the music was extremely pleasing to listen.
Pretty fun game, if you're going to expand on it I'd love to see some structures or other things to interact with. But awesome submission!
I liked the art so much and ı respect that you added multiplayer in 48 hours and it is a fun game overall . I'd be really happy if you can check my game and give me feedback.
Well, I'm pleasently surprised someone actually made an online multiplayer!
Its nothing groundbreaking, but its cute and it works surprisingly well.
The way you fit this into the theme is kind of a strech, but sure.
The art is really pleasing to look at, I really liked how the characters, the world and even the enemies look! I would love if this turned into some kind of open world survival game where you fight of hydras every now and then.
I cant give you a 5/5, its not really a lot of game, but I will give you a good 3.5/5 for your efforts!
I am really looking foward to playing more of your jam games if you decide to participate on any other, you seem to be a very talented dev.
I swear I have friends.
Online multiplayer in a 2-day gamejam? I'm not the programmer of my team, so I don't know how difficult that is, but it does sound like something to applaud at.
The game does look neat, and I had fun when I saw that the variation of enemies were also hydras. After roaming for a while, I don't think I saw any objectives or the like, but for a quickly put up online game, I think that witnessing that something like this can be done so fast is an experience on its own. Also, the music really bopped! Good tunes!
I did check the multiplayer on my own, just to make sure it worked, and I was pleasantly surprised! I might get a friend to play it with me at some point to see if we an at least get rid of some enemies.
All in all, game-wise, there's not much to offer, but I can bet that you learned a lot from making this. Don't be afraid to take more risks like these in future jams, and hey, maybe you can turn a project like this into something bigger in the future! Cheers!
