Extremely polished! Took me some time to make a T but after that it clicked for me ^^
Great Concept. Making this in 48 hours with so much polish is a huge feat.
Well Done.
BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.
It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

Really cool game and amazing presentation! The juicy animations and sounds were great, and the lines being curves instead of just direct lines connecting the input/outputs made it feel really polished. Choice of colors was also great. Amazing how polished it feels for a game jam game! :)
Insane entry for the 48 hour time limit I had a ton of fun with just the tutorial
my only complaint is that I never figured out how to make a "T"
If possible, can you upload a Mac or Web version? Saw your game on Mark's stream and it looks incredible!
I enjoyed this game a lot.
The presentation and the overall quality and polish to it is quite impressive for a 48 hours game jam, to say the least.
I have a small complaint about the letter "T"; it was very troublesome to figure out. First, I imagined that it would be an "L" that is flipped vertically combined with an "L" that is flipped vertically and then horizontally, but that was not it. Then I thought, maybe it's the vertically flipped "L" and a rotated "I" to complete that missing "T" shape also with no luck. When I finally found out the solution, I was rather disappointed, as it wasn't consistent with the way that the game has trained me to imagine the combination of the different letter shapes. The same issue with the "S" letter.
I would suggest that any given letter would have multiple solutions to not confuse or disappoint the player or make them feel stupid.
This is fixed in our update! Too bad we can't publish it now :/ Every letter does have multiple solutions!! T is just a pain because of its similarities to L, and the fact that the jam version of the game doesn't support rotation + reflection so we couldn't use the back to back L's as a recipe. But now we can!!!! By the way, upside down L and sideways I should certainly work, just make sure you use two rotations of L, the reflector only flips things horizontally not vertically. Hope you'll return to the game later as this issue and many others will be solved. Regardless we are so glad you enjoyed the game!
Great news!!
Can't wait to play it again, honestly.
you're absolutely right about the upside-down "L" and the sideways "I" as a solution to the letter "T", I have imagined it wrong in my head while writing the comment (BTW I finished the whole game before writing my comment.)
I will definitely return to the game after the update, and I would absolutely love to buy a whole game with that amazing concept.
I wish you all the best of luck in all of your following releases. Keep on making great games <3.
This is easily our top pick for the whole jam. Well done yall :)
Awesome game! Really smooth difficulty curve to ease you into things to not be overwhelming. Game is almost like programming in a way in how you need to think about the solutions. The answers are not hidden things you need to think about and realize, it's just a matter of piecing it together.
Good game!
Amazing game!!! Good quality of art, gameplay, levels, game design, music. I really think that it is one of the best games on this jam. Thank you and good luck in the next jams.
Such an imaginative and wonderful game, I could get lost in here for hours! Fantastic work!
This is honestly the right kinda game for me. Having a love for Infinifactory and Opus Magnum, this game really scratches that itch in all the right way. The art style matches the mechanics, and it was enjoyable throughout. I can't make myself rate it anywhere below full scores :D
This game is amazing! I started playing it just because it looked original and like something I hadn't seen before but then I found myself half an hour later trying to make the letter X in so many different ways and, even though I wasn't able to figure it out, I still had tons of fun playing this game. Just implement the rotate and mirror function and this game is a perfect game. Its a little hard but besides that I love it.
Rotate and mirror is working in our update, we just sadly can't post it yet of course. Hope to see you on the game after the jam!!! Thank you so much!
Looks fantastic and it's pretty fun! However some of the letters could be made in multiple ways and it was a bit frustrating at times to figure out how the dev wanted us to make the letter. Overall it's a great game though!
Super clever idea and incredibly polished presentation! Could make a really neat zachlike with an additional metric or two and maybe a couple more operators. :)
The fact that this was made in GameMaker Studio is even more crazier! It's quite difficult to make a puzzle game in that engine from my experience.
This game is so good! The main mechanic is super clever, and it really makes you feel super smart for figuring it out!
Great job!
maaan this game is so clever! I had a lot of fun playing it! :)
Awesome job! Felt like I was playing a Zachtronics type game.
