Very cute little game, very much enjoyed it! I think it would be useful if the player knew if there was a platform below. I think a slightly better way to have done the wind is to have the wind always blow in a certain direction in certain spots, but maybe that would make it too easy? Regardless great job on the game!

Very cute game, love the atmospere.
I wish there was some feedback when reaching the birdhouse that you finished the game.
The wind mechanic is a neat idea, though I think it would be better if there was a clearer indication of how strong the wind is.
Great job overall!
The animations and art were really charming, and the story of getting to your birdhouse in the middle of a windy day was very cute. The controls took a beat to get a hang of, but once I did, it was interesting trying to figure out how to get to the next areas. I also appreciated the checkpoint system. My only quibble is that if you overshoot the platform, it can be quite hard to figure out where it is below you (or if there is nothing below you) if that makes sense. Some of the later flags had a bit of a blind spot as you fly, which made it difficult without some trial and error. But otherwise this was very lovely, great job!
By the way, we played your game on our stream!
I really liked your stream. It was interesting to watch people play my game with no input from me, and try to figure things out on their own. It also helps me figure out where I need to help the player. Yeah, I also noticed the overshooting issue. Your stream is pretty cool in general, and particularly useful for feedback. Thanks!
Very cute! Sometimes the extra jumps did not seem to work but I enjoyed the game. I especially liked the progression - how you slowly got more extra jumps so the platforming got harder - the progression curve felt very good.
It was a cute game, although I had difficulty trying to "ride the wind". There were also quite a few times where I noticed my jump didn't seem to give me any boost and would instead kill my momentum completely.
Ok, here are useful tips for anyone stuck.
1. The wind changes in a sine wave pattern
2. You need to jump with the wind to get to some boosts
3. Your jumps are directional
4. You should jump at the peak of your previous jumps for maximum distance
5. Jumps and directional boosts are best if used while pointing up and right
Very tough haha, but also cute! loved the minimalism.
Congrats on making a game!!!!
Yeah, a lot of people seem to have that issue. Two things that help me get through the level are the fact that the wind goes in a sine wave, and the trick of using your double jumps diagonally up just before you start to fall. Did you notice either of these in the level, and if you didn't, would they have helped? I'm trying to figure out how to improve the learning process of the game.
I got to the end / house. What I meant was that I had to re-read the page to know that I had to press up. Maybe some better player feedback when pressing up would have been nice. And even at this point it felt a bit random if the bird got height or not. After ~1-2min I kinda got the hang of it. Oh and on a side note: Reset the player velocity when respawning ;)
Love the music and the minimalist art! I couldn't make it past the second flag, felt like I was missing something about the controls to be able to get to the wind bird there.
Loved the concept, loved the music.
The movement was a little bit difficult, I think if the game was longer, one would get better in it.
It would make an awesome mechanic for some platformers ;)
Really good music and art, the movement controls were a bit weird and awkward though
The jump/wind mechanic is quite difficult to understand. Moving around is difficult, but the idea might be expanded upon. Nice job for 48 hours!
I liked the idea even though I got a little frustrated as I couldn't clear the second jump after 5 minutes.
