Great game! I loved the music and the sfx. The graphics were also very vibrant. The gameplay was quite fun too, and it was very chaotic to try to fend off alll the enemies at once. One nitpick however and that the main game mechanic is not that clearly explained as I was only focused on one thing: to not let me health bar decrease too much, and the joining of it and the energy bar didn't matter much to me. Also how do I do the cool beam thing in the thumbnail :P

The concept is unique and interesting and the art style is alo great! I also liked the music!
I think you should add more type of enemies which do different attacks or behave differently.
The bugs I encountered were ->
When you use the energy beam and use it again before the first one ends, it queues the beam and as soon as the first beam is over, it uses the second, you can queue up many beams this way, I think the all the beams should be cancelled if they are called during the first energy beam's animation
When you keep attacking an enemy during its dying animation, its animation gets stuck and the enemy just stays there until you reset the game
Overall an awesome entry to the jam! Great job!
really liked the feel of this game. I feel like if you cleaned up the combat a little bit and add some more special moves it could really become something special
Interesting idea of balancing attacking with moving. Only idea I would have is to have controller support as it could be easy to use with a twin stick shooter.
This game quite good! A few times the game ended and i wasn't entirely sure why (does having an entirely full bar of health end the game?). It was really fun balancing my health and energy was a really fun mechanic. I was initially unsure why you'd need the sword, and then four zombies dropped, and immediately answered that question.
Really good submission, great job!
Cool idea. To get a high score you need to live long but to do that you have to take damage.
Be it the classic way or by waiting for the energy to go up.
An enemy that heals you would have been cool as well.
It's a really intersting and cool concept that's well implemented. The art also like fairly good. Not much to critisize about this one. Good Job!
This is a super creative idea and it functions quite well too, I'd say a bit more feedback on being hit and also on the magic hitting enemies would be nice, and perhaps lowering how long the player is locked down after using an attack, but, this is a lot of fun to play. Great job!
We really like the mechanics for this game. It feels nice to balance the health and energy! It's a neat little hack'n'slack! For improvements we wish the character blinked or had an animation when they take damage. You can tell by the screenshake and sound, but additional visual effects on the character probably will make it feel a little bit better!
Really solid combat system, well done on that! The mana bar/health bar is a simple but great mechanic in this game, forcing you to balance both taking and dealing damage. Well done!
This is by far the best combat system I've seen. I love how you took the theme to link the energy with health, that makes for a really unique mechanic. The graphics are perfect, and oh god the use of post processing and the effect when you're low on health is so, so well done. Bravo.
The only thing I would say is that sometimes the player can get stuck on a wall cornered by enemies, and since you can't seem to attack downwards it's easy to get stuck. Other than that though, this is a brilliant submission!
