Art direction and concept are fantastic. However, game is unplayable. Trying to play on chrome but hangs on first interrogation.
Sorry about that :(
Could you send me a dm with the screenshot so I can try to understand what's happening?
I got it working on Firefox. Idk maybe it was a problem with my chrome or something. You guys did a fantastic job btw, super original and atmospheric.
Thanks for trying again we are happy that you enjoyed!
i really want to try out the game, but for me it is not going further then 2 sentences in the beginning. what should i do? i tried clicking and pressing buttons including space, but nothing happens, only music is playing
Sorry about that, some people had this problem too in this version and we can't upload anything until the jam is over. What you could try to do to fix it is:
- run it in another browser (firefox, chrome)
- click on the screen when the text is appearing to jump the cutscene
If it doesn't work I'm sorry, we'll only be able to send another version after the voting is over =(
ok, thanks!
Love the concept and the artistic vibe! Congrats
Thanks for playing it!
I really enjoyed this game! I love the entries that took a different interpretation on the theme in general and this one is great! I agree with the others on the QOL improvements that could be made, but otherwise it feels like a full and finished game that could be released on steam. It was very immersive and made me feel like I was really solving a mystery. And it built the tension really nicely by having only a few days and only being able to ask two questions a day! I played through it several times just to ask every variation I could think of and get all the information! Great Job!
Really glad you liked, thanks for playing it.
It's good to see that little things we thought through were noticed.
Thanks for playing it, it means a lot to us. So good to see that you actually played it multiple times!! We are getting more feedbacks to see if we'll develop something based on this mechanic, thanks for your words!
Really a masterpiece! I never got around to find the killer after even playing it 3 times, but everything is awesome! Definitely in top 100!
Thank you a lot for playing, really appreciated it.
Will definitely check out your games!
Great use of the theme, one of the more unique interpretations that I’ve seen, well done!
Thank you for your feedback, glad you liked it!
I absolutely love this concept! Aside from the already suggested quality-of-life improvements, this is solid material for a full release. It really made me feel like I was connecting the dots on a deep mystery, and truly fit the the theme in several ways. Connecting people, connecting the dots... Great work with the progressive music as well!
Thanks a lot for playing it and taking the time to write, we're still thinking about a full release but it might happen.
Really cool idea. I saw your warning about the space bar and then immediately forgot (even with it right there on my screen) and went to write notes in the link notes and had to start over, hahaha.
I wasn't sure whether the dialogues that had no text in them were intentional or not, but I hit some of them more than once by mistake since I couldn't remember which things were said (should've been writing notes on paper for myself since the game didn't "mark them as read" which is totally fine for game jam scope :D ). I think maybe I needed to link the topics on the main bulletin board in order to get more text, but maybe that wasn't it. It was occasionally difficult to keep straight what someone was talking about since they'd launch into talking about someone (who wasn't necessarily the one you asked about).
I thought the game atmosphere hung together well, and I enjoy mysteries a lot, so thanks for the experience! ^_^ Cheers.
Wow, thanks for the feedback we really appreciate it. The idea of marking some interactions as read is really good, if we develop something similar outside the jam I'll make sure to implement it. Thanks for taking the time to write such a valuable feedback!
Nicely done! Very nice linked with the theme ^^
Funny how we both used polaroids, but with totally different gameplay / feel.
I didn't solve the mistery, but will come back later for another try
Yeah, I was surprised by the polaroid when I saw your game too. Thanks for playing it and taking the time to write something!
Cool idea! And good job at getting it done!
Thanks for playing it!
A well made Detective game, good job, had fun playing it on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1055461352?t=00h58m43s
Thank you so much for playing it on stream, it was really fun to see you thinking about the story and creating theories. The team was really happy to see that. I'll make sure to play your game as well =D
A well polished noir-style game like this deserves credit, well done ! :) The UI could use some patching up but for a game jam in 48 hours? You basically knocked it out of the park !
Thanks for taking the time to play it, we really appreciate it! We'll definitely do something in this UI after the voting period is over XD
Really neat take on the theme! I loved the ambiance and overall feel of the game - it seems like a tall task to come up with a bunch of narrative in a game jam. I think I hit one of those time-speedup bugs so wasn't able to get much evidence, but enjoyed the game. Nice work!
Yeah, most of our time was spent writing it therefore we ended up with some bugs like that one you mentioned.
Thank you for playing it!
Very impressive narrative, and well polished as well! Well done! I just wanted a little more snappiness to the UI.
Thank you for playing it and your feedback! We really appreciate it.

This is a really cool idea! I like the open-endedness that comes from being able to ask anyone about any pair of people. I think the time might've been weird for me: I seem to recall it going from 5 days left to 2 days left to over. Is that right?
Oh, that's one of the bugs that's happening from time to time when writing notes - they skip days. We're sorry for that.
But thanks for playing it.
This was really done, the story was well put together and it was pretty interesting finding the right combinations
Thanks for playing it, it was really fun watching you. Second Jam in your stream, that's really cool =) Hope to see you next year too.
Love the idea and the atmosphere of the game. On try 3 to figure it out right now, there are so few days and so many things to ask about! (Asking Agatha about documents seems to break it, can't exit her dialogue now)
Yeah, there are some bugs still since we spend a LOT of time in all the interactions. Thanks for playing and taking the time to give a feedback to us, it means a lot!
Neat approach to the investigator role. I like thed art style and atmosphere a lot. Some of the links I think I just got lucky on when I wasn't sure where to look next, but I was able to solve in one play through (with one day left) so I think that's spot on for a Jam! Well done.
Solving it in one day is impressive! I can't imagine how your thought process was. Thanks for playing I've checked out your game too.
Thanks! I didn't solve on the first day, just meant I only had 2 questions/1 round left before I was able to figure it out. So I think you nailed the timing/difficulty of the game.
In the first try* my bad.
The music and ambiance is really nice, and it's a cool concept that was quite ambitious!
Thanks for the review! I'll try and take a look at your game too
