The rotation is very slow, the connections sometimes imprecise and the movement is a bit floaty. It's a shame because this is by far the best concept of the whole jam, with brilliant execution. Well done !

(You forgot to specify to itch.io that your build works on windows)

Very nice! Lovely art, music, and concept! Unique interpretation of the theme! Very relaxing and I enjoyed playing it! Great work!

This was so relaxing and chill to play! Not sure I understood if the UI was communicating to me or not when I met the requirements of certain islands, I don't think I saw it though. That's really my only nitpick -- the controls felt great and the audio & art were top notch. Great job!

I really like this one.  The calm atmosphere fits great with the slow methodical building.  I get a lot of Tiny Island vibes from it, but the navigating of your landmass adds more than enough to firmly differentiate it.  Awesome job.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Relaxing to play, with relaxing music to match. Makes for engaging gameplay when you have to consider not only what tiles you want, but how to reach them by weaving in between other tiles.

Only thing this is missing is some better feedback when you score tiles, preferably something in world and not just on-hover. Would also be nice to see an indicator to show how close you are to completion (e.g. Mountain is 2/3 done), or to failure (e.g. Beach is 4/3 full).

I didn't realize you could rotate. I played through the first 6 levels before I noticed. This may be me being a dumbass and not reading the prompt in the first level, or you should make that more obvious as well.

Great job on this, one of my favorite entries!

It's very relaxing and soothing, the polish is great as well. I hope you keep on working on this!

relaxing and soothing. Not sure what the objective but it's nice to float about becoming a bigger landmass

Beautiful art and music. Really calm to play, I got really zoned out and spend more than 20 min in the blink of an eye. Well done!

Beautifully finished game! It's a really interesting puzle too, a bit like Islanders, but not a clone at all.

The physically based movement is lovely, at least until your island gets too big and rotates really slowly. Maybe increase the torque applied as the angular momentum increases?

Feels a little harsh once you've built up a large island over 15 minutes or so to make one slip up and lose all your progress. Other than an undo or save games, I'm not really sure what you could do about that.

My only other wish is that the camera could be zoomed out a bit. Perhaps under the player's control. When moving downwards, you can't really see far enough ahead.

On the whole, great job!

Such a calm and well polished game, I could see myself playing this for hours! Awesome art and pretty relaxing music. Very original take on the theme also. I think you should upload some screenshots so that more people get interested in your game. This is 5/5/5 for me. Fantastic job! ;-)

Could be a full pro game !

Loved it ;)

There is a lot of the game Islander in this. And I think this other game could be an appropriate reference to yours for certain details. Because I think your chill vibe is working very well but could be even stronger. For instance, you can't cancel an entry. This makes the choices a bit too tense sometimes. As well as, when you grab a bloc by mistake because you were to close, it can be frustrating, and you could begin to navigate very carefully. This, again, is working against the general direction of the game.

But away from that, this is a great game ! I would be very pease if you continued to work on it after the jam !

Congratulations !

Very nice and calm experience! I love how it looks and feels and it's a nice looking puzzler. Good work!

The best puzzle i've played on this jam. Polished, accurate, relaxing but challenging! Wonderful work! I greatly like how you develop the main mechanic - it is that one thing, that missing in many other puzzles.
Still, there is place for improvement)
Firslty, may be adjust camera a bit, to move island to the center of the screen, so it would be less possibilities to hit a hex below screen.
Secondly - maybe change an effect when player go out the playable area? With bit island, when you are cicling aroud, it turns on quite often, that distracts a bit.

And you also can increase the tileset, adding more mechanix, for example, tiles that gives you more than one point with harder conditions. It would be great addition. There can be challenges, additional conditions, many other ideas - that shows that this is really good idea, with great depth) Thank you for this!

First game I rated 5/5/5! I didn't make it past level 5 (towns), because being on an AZERTY keyboard I had trouble with the WASD+QE controls and often slammed into islands instead of braking ^^"

I love the art and music, the core mechanic is very good and insanely extensible, and it really makes you (try to) think about what to do next. The only thing I had a gripe with was how you can easily slide into an island you didn't see, either make the movement a bit more "responsive" (i.e. higher acceleration, lower speed cap), and/or add a zoom feature (I found myself trying to scroll out several times) so we can see what tiles lie where, and maybe plot a path that lets us navigate through gaps afterwards.

Congratulations!

Very nice game, don't know why this hasn't already more ratings. Seems very Carcasonne or Dorfromantik inspired. But I really like the take of directly maneuvering your island. The game has a good mix of relaxation and challenge.

The game seems very polished. Puzzles and levels get actually really in depth and even though the game itself is very relaxing, it definitely got quite tough to figure out. I really enjoyed the minimalist artstyle and the calming music. Great job!

really different game, relaxing and nice, the models had a really cool and simple style, good job

Very relaxing game! I really liked the gameplay. There was no need to rush, so enough time to learn how everything works. Responsive controls and good looking art completed the game.

So nothing to complain (Except the missing quit game button?!). Well done!
