GG! Nice take on the theme! Very fun! I liked the duck. Duck is the best part.

Could you try out my game if you have time?

This is awesome! A really fun concept and well executed. The momentum of the boat is a little unpredictable sometimes but that kinda fits with the whole style of the game lol. This could be a legit mobile game!

Thank you!

This game was a nice challenge. A lot of people have been saying our game is too hard, so I can sympathize with you as I'm sure you can beat every level in 3 seconds!

I found it a little confusing that it didn't matter if I ran my boat into the shore as long as I didn't hit a rock, but the game is fun and the mechanics are solid, so I can suspend my disbelief there easily :)

Nice work!

Developer

Thank you! If shores destroyed boats like rocks do, America wouldn't exist today... 😂

LOL, fair enough!

Pretty fun, and a neat take on the game jam theme. It feels like a lot of love was put into it, good job :)

Great! I had a bit of a hard time with the physics at first but after I got used to it I loved it!

Developer

Thanks :)

Really cool and  creative game. But I found it a little hard to get the boat to move forward again after bouncing back.

Developer(+2)

Yes I agree, physics would indeed need some tweaking. Thanks!

one of the best if not the best submission i have seen in this jam

One of the best games here!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words!

This game is suuuper creative. I love the ripple effect and the pleasant sound of the water! I only found myself with 1 wish... CHAOS! In a game where you can effectively create a wake behind the boat by clicking behind it a bunch, I wish the levels I played were longer so I could create a super fast boat!

Developer

If you want Chaos try the secret level 😂 (press 0) but I agree with what you said. Thanks for the feedback!

Welp. Time to replay just for that LOL

It took me like a whole minute to figure out those where clouds and not obstacles lol. Amazing concept and the sound is S tier. really enjoyed it.

Developer

Hahaha have you never tried Pokemon Emerald, ruby or sapphire? Anyway thanks!

really enjoyed it, the affects were satisfying only thing that was tough was slowing down, it felt that even putting ripples ahead of me would speed me up instead, other than that it was all fun :)

Developer

Yes I agree boat physics had room for improvement! Thanks for the feedback!

I really love this idea, it's very unique. The second level was complicated but fun to play. Appreciated that this game is playable on mobile. Impressive.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

i think this was a unique approach to a puzzle game and it was satisfying to place down ripples and see what would happen! i love the overall aesthetic of the game and its simplicity

Thank you!

I love the idea of playing as water and it is very fun to see the chaos caused by the whirlpools when there are a lot of obstacles around. Great game!

Thanks!

Nice game! I hoped i would be the first one to beat it (which i did) but seems like i am too late for that.

Your game is outstanding the way it can be played universally on all devices without installation.  I played it on my mobile and it was fun to play.

Thank you! First experience with LibGDX's HTML5 target and it's amazing so far

The way the ripples move the boat and logs is really well executed.

Developer

Thanks!

Fun game, the ripples are really cool

Submitted(+2)

I think this is a really cool idea and its impressive that you built the game in LibGDX which is naturally harder than doing something in a game engine. I found the game to be really fun however the boat is a little hard to decelerate. The spirals and different types of ripples are a cool idea but maybe guide the player through what each is good for. Other than that, great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yes I agree, it was difficult for me to get the exact physics I wanted using Box2D. I'm used to a less realistic approach to physics and this was something new for me. Learned a lot though. Thanks for the feedback!
