A nice take on the theme with a good amount of levels to try to solve. I like the core mechanic of taking a picture although it felt a little awkward for me to do and to gather the pieces but I'm not the biggest on puzzle games. Thanks for the game!
I played the game here:
I haven't seen anything else like it in the jam! You could definitely make some tricky puzzles out of this. It might be cool if there was some way the player could influence the camera, rather than just the other way around. This concept has a lot of potential!
What a cool and unique concept! Suuuuper well done :D
The idea is cool and unique!! I luv this game!
Really cool idea. The music was really good too. Well done!
Very cool idea for a puzzle platformer! The music fit perfectly and I love how it switched between the two tracks for the two different game states. The rotation in particular added an unexpected dimension to the concept, and was a great addition!
When you rotate the camera, things are misaligned by half a grid square, but that didn’t really hamper playability. I do think that it might have been better if rotating kept the camera view steady but rotated the world around it. At first I thought rotating the camera was going to shift gravity in your frame. It would definitely be worth speeding up the camera movement IMO, especially since dying or constructing the solution wrong meant having to go and collect all the platform pieces again.
Also, just wanted to add, I love your game page’s cover image :)
really cool puzzles. I wish I could do all the actions faster
Cool game, with some time invested in the puzzles, it can become a full game. nice work!
Amazing game, could definitely be turned into a full game.
Really enjoyed this game. There was a few of the levels that had me thinking a lot before solving and was very satisfying once I worked out the solution. Great job! Also liked there was two different tracks between the two play modes, it was a nice touch
Amazing idea, that need more work than 48 hours gamejam. Made full game.
Not sure how the game is related to the theme, but that's an interesting concept, I like the idea. Would be cool to have some better description or guide on exactly what you can do in the game, but once you figure out what to do, it becomes quite interesting to play.
The picture-taking is a nice mechanic that made for some fun platforming puzzles. The last two puzzles took me a while to get, but it was super cool when it clicked.
The tutorial screen was completely unintelligible. It's a good thing you put the controls in the game description or else I wouldn't have figured anything out. The movement in camera mode feels very sluggish. It was annoying when I had to redo that section because I missed my jump.
Great work!
Stupid sexy camera man
Really cool mechanic! Made perfect sense after a few minutes and it was very slick. :)
The mechanic looks cool, but I couldn't understand it. It keeps cancelling what I do without showing why.
you need to take a picture of what you want to be on frame
Ahh cool, yeah just make that clear in-game and you're golden!
i really like the concept for this! i think it was a little finicky to figure out the mechanics, but i think this was really unique and would love to see it more polished! great work!
Neat puzzle game, I love the cover art. It was a little tough figuring it out at first, and the levels can be a bit punishing/slow if you mess up and have to restart. Good job! Our game also has you taking control of a camera.
Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to play.
I do not find the link to the theme obvious enough but very cool game anyway!
