I like how this feels harder than Wordle.

Cool concept and really fun to play, the timing feels just right too. However, I feel like all the letters should already start at grey to avoid confusion and so the player needs less clicks to get the right answer. Maybe you can reduce the timer a little to compensate for this as well? Still really liked the game overall though :)

Developer

Yesss. Making the initial state of the letters empty made the players have unnecessary clicks so I actually felt dumb that I didn't think of it during development. And for the timer, it's kinda adaptive to the player's skill level so it will increase as you score more. Thanks for the detailed feedback tho. I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

This is such a simple and delightful concept, even without the clear inversion of Wordle, the only thing I'd suggest is that it'd be nice for QOL if the letters all started as grey.

Fun game, but the letters starting black confused me, I thought that meant they were already set to none and didnt change them and was confused why I wasn't getting any right for the first 10 rounds

Developer

I feel very dumb not making the initial state of the button as gray instead of empty. I'm glad you figured it out and enjoyed it!

Very cool!

Neat idea! I think reversing the order of colours would help, though, so you'll have to click fewer times to get the grey, which is the most commonly-used colour.

Developer

That's a great suggestion! Putting green at index 0 despite being used least made the game unnecessarily harder. Thanks for the feedback. Hope you enjoyed it!

Interesting take on the theme, found it very fun to play! Felt that it was very polished, however the timer starts going up past 100% if you get into the negatives. (definitely not a skill issue on my part...)

Developer(+1)

I made the timer adaptive to players' skill level and forgot to put a range where to stop incrementing at decrementing. This bug will only happen when the score is below negative 30 tho. I never thought anyone would reach it. AHHAHAH Thanks for the feedback!

Pretty neat, looks great

Cool way to reverse roles! I was confused at first but once I figured out the default state was different from the grey state it made senes

Developer

Yes, that made a lot of sense. I'm actually questioning myself why I didn't think of it. Thanks for playing tho!🤣

this is such a creative idea and so much fun too !

Nice work! Although in Wordle, if you guess multiple of the same letter and there's only one present in the answer, only one of them gets marked as green or yellow.

Developer

I actually didn't know that Worlde mechanic, but even if I do, I might not be able to implement it with my skill level. 😭 Hope you enjoyed it tho!

I wish the default state of the letter was wrong so I didn't have to click unused letters. Otherwise had fun with this good job

Developer(+1)

I'm actually dumbfounded that I didn't think of it during development. Glad that you enjoyed it tho!
