How does your game fit the theme?
The role reversal in this game comes from the idea of a guide dog - reversed. Instead of leading your visually impaired, full-body cast-owner to safety (you know.. GUIDE-ing them)... You LEAD THEM STRAIGHT TO THE DANGER.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the art during the game jam

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

Fun game, the movement was a bit unusual, but it added to overall chaos of the game.

I liked art style, and that cute dog of course :) I like how the leash goes in curves around.
I think I'd prefer to control it with buttons. It was a little hard to predicts how I will swing my human around.
Either way great work!

very nice sound design but the character controller feels a bit clunky what really ruins the gameplay

Submitted(+2)

Fun dog animation. :)
I wish the leash was a bit stiffer so I could really get some momentum on the character, but I eventually figured out how to thrash about and get lots of hits.

Great game! The caos caused by a slight mouse movement drove crazy initially but it ended up fitting the game perfectly! Hahaha Nice

this game is janky in the best way possible, the most hilarious thing to do was crank up my mouse dpi to the max and just enjoy the chaos lol, very fun 10/10!

Should be put on the dangerous doges act. Great job!

Submitted(+2)

Never ever i will trust a dog leading me anymore!

Submitted(+2)

I had way too much fun with this haha. The silliness of the movements, and the music just make this very funny and enjoyable throughout. I loved the artwork as well and thank you octrdev for the gifted sub on DrDoctumDoces's live stream! Btw, I'm big_monkey1234 haha.

when good boy turns into bad boy

The controls are what really make the game here. It's just frustrating enough to be stratifying to get points and still somewhat intuitive.

Submitted(+2)

What a very good boy he is. Not gonna lie, I love the idea of randomly running around causing havoc and pain. Its surprisingly fun, the presentation is nice, and its a very creative take on the theme. Great job making this goofy and fun game.

A pretty funny idea, had a lot of fun trying to get a new high score. The art is also on point, although i once managed to clip my camera into a building. Other than that a pretty coherent entry.

Submitted(+2)

Hilarious concept, controls are a little wonky but hey you only had 48 hours so that's understandable. Music is a perfect fit for the game too. Had a ton of fun :)

I'm a simple man. I see borzoi, I click borzoi.

Stunning, amazing, life changing.
I dont even know how to put in words the beauty of the borzoi animation, and as a only feedback I'd say that is a crime against the videogame industry to put a mute button in the options.

Jokes aside, the style is very coherent, i love the stylization you used for the 3d models, from the flat texturing with a very nice and thought out palette to the modeling itself (the cars are *chef kiss*), the music is fitting and the sfx are too. The gameplay. I mean. You gotta crash your owner into stuff. Do i have to say more?

All around an incredibly solid entry! Maybe I'd add a bit more visual feedbacks when you hit stuff, but i mean, it's a jam, we got 48 hours and you guys did all this stuff. it's pretty forgiving i think. 15 stars!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for the feedback!! I'm so glad you enjoyed our game :] 💗 it's funny because the mute button doesn't work 💀

Submitted(+2)

After knowing this, if i could give 16 stars i would.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, it is so funny, with the music in the background. Being a guard dog trying to hit my owner with other things. The quirkiness and comedic relief of the game is genius. I love the 3D models and SFX used, what more is there to say about a good boy wanting to guide its owner :D love it <3

Interesting concept, and pretty funny idea!
The controls felt confusing at first, until I understood how they worked (mouse being just Left|Right).
While playing, I didn't really feel any sort of "reward" for playing as intended, and while talking about it with people, we concluded that maybe having Goals and Collectables would have been really nice, as well as a bit of visual reward such as the Score points from collisions popping up above things when you hit them, so that you had more of a sense of your actions mattering.

Also, I discovered Helicopter Flying, but seemed to get shot down and couldn't find a good way to make use of it lol

We had the same idea! I think the gameplay lacks feedback and the controls are strange, but it looks nice with the cel shading! Great job!

For our game we made it so the dog makes the owner ragdoll into fences, buildings, trash cans and trees for points! You can also pee and drift hehe.

I'd be curious to hear your feedback on our project since we had the same idea!
