Had a lot of fun with this toy!  Just got to keep blowing up buildings and having fun the whole time

Why would anyone want to live here. Why are they still building.
Cute and simple, nice presentation. I imagine making so many destruction effects was a lot for this.
And it's neat that the building get built out but it doesn't really add much but was probably a decent chunk of time to code.
I think if I were to make this I would half the number of destruction types and start with a large already made static map to destroy all of. There's not really any strategy here so theres not much use having so many different things with different cost. Something like this should ideally just be fun and satisfying to destroy stuff so all the focus should be on that and making it feel good to see stuff blow up. Maybe adding more player control would be better too than just spawning things at a position. Control the UFO, storms and stuff.

Anyway, Good job 👍

Developer

Thanks! Well, interesting ideas... I will definitely keep them in mind when I update the project :)

Nice take on theme.   The graphics are simple but it works well. The effects are fun. Good job.

Thank you very much!!!

Nice little game! I love the concept and the UI is really nice and clean. I only missed some extra player feedback, but overall great entry! Congrats

Developer

Thanks, you are right, better feedback would be great!

Nice game, really fun and cute. I like that you could see buildings that were damaged. I wasn't sure if there were building that needed specific types of catastrophes to destroy or if they just had more health, but really good congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, yeah my first idea was to make some buildings destructible only by some disaster, or that some will not have an effect. But I dropped that, it was "too difficult". But some buildings have more health then the others.

Cool game, well presented, well implemented, had no bugs and works really well, congrats

Developer

Thank you!

Great concept. Hard to beat. I give up at level 6, has the construction were to fast for my power of destruction. Perhaps a time scale addition could be usefull. Of course some more polish would be welcomed, but for a jam it's not supposed to be so important.

Great job.

Developer

Thank you! Level 6 is the maximum, it is like in RPG, you gain experience for destroying buildings -> new level  -> new skills... I should make an experince bar, but I was lazy :D But I really think about polishing the game and make some update later.

Really fun game! I was expecting it to be a sort of toybox of destruction where you just smash up a city but I'm glad it was more than that. The idea of trying to undo the progress of the city while the computer continues to try and expand is fantastic. The lack of effects was a little disappointing for things like the nuke but I know the time constraints probably prevented that sort of thing. Overall really good game.

Developer

Thank you! Yop, You're absolutely right. The missing effects are a huge shame... but in those two days I didn't have the strength for them anymore :D

Love this one! Best part of sim city, sign me up. Spent a lot of time here

Developer

Thanks!

Funny concept (can I say "satisfying" ?) ! I managed to unlock the nuke (and used it, I confess).

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I like it as well!  :D

Very clever idea and very satisfying to play. Good job!

The level of detail in the city makes the destruction all the more satisfying, and I could not wait to try out the new disasters I unlocked.

Developer

Thank you! I am very happy to hear this.

Since I also made a reverse city builder it was cool to play some else's take on this idea, I really liked how the game looked and enjoyed the variety of different disasters to unleash on the city!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I will look at your project as well.

The game was super fun!! The models were simple but looked great and I just missed some music. The game was really good. Great job!

Developer

Thanks. Yeah,.. I could add the music, I admit.

-Enjoyment: That was super well made! It was cool to watch the city build out its self too, I felt bad destroying it haha.

-Creativity:  Very unique idea and well executed!

-Presentation:  All the models/particles looked simple and awesome. I really liked how the roads were placed!

-Neat game indeed!! Please check out my non-creative entry when you can :D

Developer

Thank you! I also wish I had more ratings... I guess I chose the wrong thumbnail picture for the game...

Destroying things in the game interested me so I enjoyed the game. :D I'm surprised that someone can program it in such a short time. Seriously good work and a good idea! I enjoyed the ufo the most and the nuclear bomb in level 6 was the icing on the cake. :)

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I overscoped a little the project, but I managed to make it somehow, but it should have more features. Firemen should extinguish a fire, zombies, godzilla or AI attack - like terminators and also a lot more buildings... but I am really happy what I have done in just 48 hours.

Submitted(+1)

Wow, feature packed!

At level 6 it felt like the city got so very fragmented, so even a nuke could only take down a few buildings.

Had a good time up until then, love the UFO :D

Well done, very impressive putting this together!

Developer

Thank you very much! Yeah I don't want to make nuke devastating, but maybe it could be a little bit stronger...

a decal for indicating area of effect would have been nice!

Developer

Great Idea! Maybe I will make some update :)

Fun game, nice and readable objectives, simple and cute graphics.

Had a bit of a trouble figuring out that the dissatisfaction is the currency. It is also quite hard to reach the nuke

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't wanna use dollars or something like that... So I decided to use something like "bad mood"... It supposed to show how you earn it after destroying buildings...

Very nice game. Functional and clear graphics. Intuitive controls. Relaxing gameplay. Destruction of the city is VERY satisfying. I haven't played a game like this since maybe SimCity 2000? ...and that was many years ago. Disasters: Locusts have style, earthquake has nice area of effect, fires are probably my favorite (great value price/effect). I would have appreciated more disasters (Godzilla, looting mobs for example) or the ability to combine existing ones - fan the fire with a tornado into an even bigger fire...  or boost vulcan with meteor strike... Overall: small but very fun and enjoyable game.

Developer

Thanks. Happy to hear that... Maybe I will make some update :)
