How does your game fit the theme?
In sumo wrestling you need to get your opponent outside the ring. In this game, you need to keep them inside of it! Additionally the role of the opponent is also reversed as they are trying their hardest to get out of the ring, rather than stay inside.

It's really hard, but overall it's a nice and well executed idea. Love it!

Developer

Fun

I love the presentation! The sound is very fitting too. But dang it's hard

Developer

Thanks! I spent way too long on sculpting, retopology, rigging and finally animating the wrestlers! D:

Definitely pretty  hard, but still super fun to play. It's cool to find someone who came up with an idea similar to ours, and I like seeing the differences in the approach taken. Great entry!

The game looks really nice and it is very fun with the right amount of challenge!

was struggling at first but then I figured out that you can  go directly on you opponent and block him

Looks great, and is very challenging!

Fun time figuring out the strategy and mechanics!

This one was challenging (in a fun way). I like the way you twisted the theme around uniquely! Great work!

That was hard but really fun, great job!

A fitting game to be released on day one of the Japanese Grand Sumo Tournament. Pretty hard but after you get the hang of it you can beat it.

Controls are tricky but lots of fun

Pretty hard at first but very fun. Watching the opponent jump around like a frog was funny too lol. W game

As others have mentioned, it's very difficult. But that doesn't mean it isn't still a very fun game. The presentation and music are also very good and the idea itself is pretty cool.

Thanks! Perhaps this is what happens when you playtest the game over and over and forget all about how it feels to play it for the first time.

Submitted

Haha, yea. Don't worry, it happens to everybody :)

This was really fun, although it took a while to get the hang of it! Really like the concept though!

Difficulty needs some adjustments, but good idea and great job!

Developer

Thanks! I agree, I wish I could add more depth to the fighting too, but alas time got the better of me.

Really cool concept! It was way too difficult for me, I could never seem to block the wrestler. I really like the idea though!

Developer

Thanks! It requires some practice to get the hang of it, although ill say I should have made the first jump not happen as quickly. If he does the worst possible angle straight away its very hard to get to him in time! but time limit happened so it is what it is!
