Ok, I love the art, it's so weird and so nice! The idea is great, even if I got stuck for a while!

thanks so much for your detailed review! The ending is really disturbing, isn't it
What's wild is that throughout the game it felt so demeaning I even began to resent my owner.. Then there at the end I was just sitting there like a desperately lost puppy hoping my owner would come back to get me.. Guess that's how Stockholm syndrome starts to set in..
Yeah... really disturbing 0_o
Oh, and you made Game of the Day on my threads app!
I'm confirming reviews. I decided to give you 5 stars for enjoyment. By my own rubric the gameplay was outstanding, even if it wasn't perfect. We'll see this one on steam after the jam, right? ;)
thanks so much for the kind words. Yes, I think we will do a more polished version and try to release on steam. I think I'll be pinging everyone from the comments when we do :)
Not only a true psychological horror game..
but a true masterpiece.
thank you!
Really, really good way of portraying this message, and a very interesting take on the theme. It made me feel uncomfortable from the very beginning, just as intended, and the artwork and sounds are very well made
Besides 10/10 i can twerk
yup twerking was really fun
This is what a jam game its supposed to be. A piece of art. Congratulations on the music
thank you so much! We put a lot of soul into this one
This felt... different HAHAHA I wish the instructions were clearer. The artstyle is great! Nice job!
thank you! The instructions were unclear on purpose, to mimic what dogs must feel when we ask them to do tricks. But yeah, I know this could use some more work, we were thinking of animating the dog somehow to provide more visual cues but run out of time
I never felt so uncomfortable playing a game^^! I love it!
15/15
This had me grinning the whole time I played it. Such a good job.
Why would you hurt me so T_T
10/10
to send a message :(((
This truly was an experience
Video games are the purest form of art
And this...
Is...a video game
haha thanks
Amazing execution for an amazing take on the prompt.
I felt many things.
Super creative, even scary XD
I don't really get what I'm supposed to do but I guess that's the point. One of the most traumatizing game I've played this jam, truly felt like a dog who struggles to understand orders lol
Well, that's enough chips for today :D
The art is impressive and the take on the topic is awesome! Maybe qust a few less repetitions of the same commands or some new commands would be nice :) I love that it is hard for the human to understand what his dog meant...But she tries so hard!
Is the "tree" the real ending here? I couldn't quite understand and attempted to run away, but to no avail :)
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, that is the real ending, we didn't include any "Game over" or "The end" screens on purpose, to mimic the feelings of confusion, denial, helplessness and finally the terrifying realisation of what has happened. Our core principle was that there should be no UI in the game to fully immerse the player (that's why tutorial etc was presented as billboards in the background as well)
Oh, now I see :D The ending definitely arouses the feelings that were implied!
The billboards are also an interesting idea - actually the UI becomes so intuitive that you may even need one billboard within the game or so :)
This is absolutely horrifying. Great work.
thank you <3
Klasa;) Bardzo fajnie wygląda, szczeki i muzyka też na duży plus :P no i ogólnie jajcarskie to. Tylko nie wiem czy powtarzanie tych komend aż tyle razy było takie niezbędne;) Mega doceniam mocne urozmaicenie grafy
haha dzięki. Dograłeś do końca?
Of korz
Woof? Bark bark, bark bark bark, woof, grr... BARK BARK!
good art style (:
I liked the idea and the style of graphics but the tricks instruction could've been more clear. Overall a fun game!
Thanks! The tricks were obscure by design to kinda replicate the feelings dogs must have when we speak to them. Did you finish the game?
I have not unfortunately. I'm a bad human apparently :)
oh no, that was our main concern, there's a plot twist at the end, but most people will probably not reach it lol
