Really fun and clever concept with a surprising amount of depth. Honestly have nothing bad to say about this game
Thank you for the kind words!
Awesome game, I really enjoyed strategizing against "myself"! Plus the music (especially in the last encounter) is sooo good!
Cool artstyle :)
Neat concept, I went for a "play against yourself" idea too but this is a completely different take.
The idea is interesting, the arts very well polished, the gameplay mechanic solid but maybe a bit slow gameplay for the first two encounter?
Great presentation and an interesting concept. Nicely done.
Awesome presentation. Nice music and visuals. Also quite fun to play!
It would be greatly appreciated if you rated my game as well! https://outercloudstudio.itch.io/fire-swap
Best music I've heard in the jam so far. Great concept too
Cool concept! I got a bit confused with the turn mechanics however, but still nice!
Unique stuff indeed and excellent graphics. I really appreciate the ability to fast forward. It was fun figuring out how to beat the "better you" clone. The game is polished and well made. Impressive work!
I'm glad you enjoyed our game.
Fun concept :) Was definitely impressed that the win condition requires a good bit of strategic thinking - there's a surprising amount of depth in the mechanics. Adding more clones with various strengths/weaknesses/abilities could really flesh this out. Great job - hope you keep developing it!
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I loved this game. The music was bumping, the art is really good even if simplistic, and the idea is extremely creative. My only problem was there isn't more.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the idea of using attacks you dont want the AI to use when youre in the other body. Fun game!
It took me a second to really figure out just what to do, but once you get into the rhythm it is actually surprisingly engaging!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)
Damn, this is amazing. Loved the more literal approach to the theme by itself, and what an elegant implementation of it. The uses of status swaps and DoT effects and limiting the use of each while still making sure you can't just idle while on the other body... this is genius. And the art is silly but actually very very good and well made, the soud design is very nice (although a volume slider would be great, the volume is a bit high for me). This could honestly be the basis for a full fledged turn rpg combat system if worked on a bit more, i'm super impressed by all of it, really, congrats on an amazing entry!
Thank you :)
Love the art and the sound design, and the gameplay itself. this is a really good submission.
Thank you!
This is really cool! Its like rock paper scissors but you're trying to sabotage yourself, but a little more complex. Nice work
Glad you liked it! We balanced the game to be less luck based and more like a puzzle game disguised as an RPG since there are consistent strategies to win the different battles.
The idea is really good and requires a good strategy to pass the levels
So glad you liked it!
This is very fun. I would love to see a full game out of this idea.
Thank you!
this game is actually really good, and the artstyle reminds me of flash games on the school computer.
Thank you!
