Fun way to make minesweeper even harder and kinda stressful because  u have to focus all the time. Still, minesweeper has its own problems which make the game harder to enjoy :D. but good idea anyways

Fun concept! The game was simple enough but still had me thinking! While I did find the controls to be a bit slow compared to the player's mouse, the game was interesting regardless. Great work!

Interesting ideas! I'm still playing minesweeper sometimes so i really like ti! Nice entry and well done! :)

Interesting idea. Feels a bit too slow. A bit annoying that pressing up or down in windowed mode would scroll the screen. There is a bug where if the player tries to place a flag when 0 flags are left, the game would freeze (at least that's what I think caused the freezing).

Most creative idea i've seen yet! Quite difficult for me considering I suck at minesweeper

I like the concept, but I think it could have used a bit more tutorialization. And I feel bad for anyone trying to play this that doesn't know how minesweeper works, haha.

Superb idea! Super stressful to play though, but enjoyable nonetheless.

This somehow combines minesweeper's usually relaxing gameplay with fast-paced decisions. Very well done!

This was WILD to play. Probably the best representation of the theme I've seen so far, hands down.

Playing this game is a nightmare though lol. I'm not sure how you're supposed to be able to influence the cursor to NOT do something, but even then, it felt like the lack of communication on which space the cursor was going to made this like 5x harder. I know that kind of frustration is intended though, so it didn't influence my rating that much ^^'

Overall, the concept of this game fits the jam PERFECTLY, and the helpless nature of watching someone else blindly stumble through a minefield is effortlessly executed.

Really cool approch to the theme! I hope this game gets mentioned in the video! Great entry 5/5

Amazing idea, and after stumbling trough the beginner map and failing, I'm terrified of the giant fields in the screenshots.

You did a great job on the ai, making it seem intelligent enough for a lot of its moves but still making enough mistakes for you to fix.

And because of the simple idea you get a lot of mileage out of very little assets too, pro jam move

Great game and super unique idea that distills the idea of role reversal down to the core. Good work!

(and great choice of game to build on hahah)

Seems like I'm not the only one that built a game based on minesweeper :O

AI playing the minesweeper was a very creative concept, mashing the keyboard to make it not choose the wrong tile was pretty funny.

I wish there was an option to 'force-click' so the waiting time could be reduced. Would like to see more with this concept!

Super creative and a cool take on the theme. I had a lot of fun!

I was fearing this was going to be a little too similar to what I made but I have the pleasure to announce it's actually way better than that. This game is fantastic in the sense it both amuses me in a meta way and drives me insane. 10/10 would watch my little nephew play minesweeper again.

Unfortunately for as much as I love this game I can see it being mostly a gimmick due to how slow it feels and realistically not having much way to speed it up without ruining the concept. It's definitelly an S+ in creativity though. Including a beginner map was a great call.

Wow this game drives me crazy in an amazing way. I love the telegraphing and spastic way i am trying to get the ai to make the right choice. Amazing job!! Such a great game!

I actually really liked this one! I think having the player be smiley was very neat, but I think the gameplay just boils down to tap randomly and hope to knock out the "player" cursor. I think having more to do with the gameplay could've improved it; like maybe holding down a charge button to bump the cursor further or something.

Otherwise, it was very creative and I like the presentation!

Really nice game, and definitely among my favorites! Love the idea, and the role inversion is actually pretty creative. It’s a lot of fun going through this.

Super cool concept! I think this was a very creative idea, but I do think the gameplay does end up feeling very very slow. I think if there were some other possible ways smiley could affect the "player" and then speedup the clicking in some way or another, it would definitely bring it up a level.

Especially when it takes 2.5 minutes to just play a beginner map, I can't imagine how long it would take to play a higher difficulty haha

Overall, I think the concept and execution are super cool and this is definitely a great demo!

You're 100% right about it being slow; I almost submitted the game with just the expert map, which would have been even slower!

Ultimately there has to be enough time for the player to see whether it's going to be a click or a flag, and then enough time to move the pointer out of the way if necessary. I had some ideas about streamlining the game a bit to only have a few key moments where the player had to bump the pointer, but had to keep it simple for the sake of time.

This is a creative idea! Never took so long to play a beginner minesweeper map...
