Damn that boss was hard, but very fun! This game is very simple yet very enjoyable.
Awesome job!
Really cute game! Love the graphics and the gameplay is clever ^^
Nice game! Love the Gabe-Boy wibes. This could be a hit on mobile, try consider it! Good job!!!
I loved the gameboy feel, you really nailed it, well done!
Very easy to understand and play. The style, along with the music and graphics, is very well executed and cohesive. The variety of hazards adds to the enjoyment.
It's a fun, solid game!
I love how this looked and sounded. Also loved the creative gameplay.
Neat idea! I love the gameboy style, the art style is very cohesive - presentation is excellent! The music goes well too. I did find the controls really frustrating though, which made it less enjoyable for me, I couldn't get to the boss. I think a screen with the controls on it at the beginning would help. But maybe I just suck xD
sadly there's a bit of a bug at the end of the first level, if you check the description it goes over it and the controls as well also the text at the beginning of the game explains the controls too
a real gamrboy gameboy game Now that's something extra cool! I Love the artwork and the game's feeling is just right! You are a genius.
Love love LOOVEEE the simple color palette and overall really well made pixel-art design! Suuper well done :D
Really well presented, the feeling of the rocket moving is really satisfying. Wonderful little retro title. Great work!
Love the presentation and the creativity of this game 👽 at first I couldn't work out why I was restarting the level over and over again immediately, but I think I was flying too fast and being hit by the boundary of the screen. I could absolutely see this being played on a gameboy!
actually it is a Gameboy game, works on real hardware 😁
A very nice game! It’s not always clear which elements are in the foreground and which are in the background, but that’s really the only negative thing I could say about it. Nicely done!
this so beyond solid in every aspect. lovely retro pixel art, unusual but fun control scheme, simple arcadey gameplay that kept me hooked until the end :) the biggest achievement imo is the boss fight, which you managed to make challenging enough without it feeling janky or unfair even in the slightest! took me a few tries and felt good when i did it!!
great jam game :)
I am very glad you liked it, I was worried people wouldn't get to the boss due to that big in the first level but seems like that isn't the case 😁
you found a good way to warn people about it and i think your description is clear enough on how to avoid it :)
thank you again, I was concerned that it would push others off from trying it but again is seem I was worried for nothing
Very nice and well polished, congrats!
Fun twist on the theme. Good going!
Great retro style, well done! For me the game was quite hard
Simple and extremely beautiful game at the same time, I enjoyed playing, the idea was very good
I like the aesthetic. I feel like some SFX are missing (like the boost for instance). Music is great.
Well done.
This is a great concept! I wish it were a bit longer, and leaned into the whole "running away" thing a bit sooner, but other than that it's an amazing entry.
Also very obviously influenced by The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which just makes it better!
Ha! I was wondering if anyone would get that reference! you are my hero.
The retro style is perfect! The game was very hard though.
