love the concept lol, I knew what was about to happen as soon as I saw the street corner, and the pathfinding mechanic is pretty creative, never really seen this done in games I think. would have liked to see them run into each other and meet at the end but I guess you didnt have time, the intro was great though

Cutscenes with bumping into each other and even videos with their progressing relationship were already recorded or in production, but unfortunately we had not enough time to implement them, yeah...

And yeah, after we settled on the idea, we new this game desperately needed an intro cutscene, so our artist spent one full day on it :)

По описанию я сначала не понял, в чём концепция иры, но как начал играть - всё встало на свои места. На этапе брейншторма мы тоже думали обыграть какой-нибудь аниме троп, но дальше идеи это не пошло, но вам удалось это сделать. У игры очень приятная графика и несложный геймплей. Но мне интересно, как вы реализовали рисование карты: сделали на отдельных листах все 4 уровня, или нарисовали на бумаге тайлы?

I loved this game a lot.

The gameplay is very simple but still makes you think a lot, and this art is simply amazing. I'm glad I played this game, it's great. <3

I liked this game a lot! The puzzle design is creative and feels pretty rewarding to get it right. I don't know if this is intentional but after day 2 it stopped giving a preview of what path they will take, which now after playing it, I think I actually enjoyed that because it made me try to do things one step at a time and see how things change every time which was fun. Also I think it's cool that there's probably more than one solution to some of the puzzles because I was able to finish the last level only using 2/3 of the stop signs. This is probably my favourite game that I've played so far :D

Yes, removing lines later on was intentional as they served as a tutorial in the beginning. Hope I could make that clearer, but it is how it is in 2 days :)

And about several solutions: it was impossible to change levels after we set them in stone (drew on paper), so we could not deal with a couple of unintended solutions in levels 4 and 5, which is probably not the worst thing after all!

I really really liked this game! Cute the idea of the initial cutscene! GJ!

The idea is also very cute and well done.

The gameplay also is interesting, is a cute puzzle i enjoyed it a lot.

I also appreciated a lot the idea of the playthrough.

The only thing i did not understand is why in some levels there is the colored path of the 2 character on the ground and sometimes its not.

Is it just on the first level to guide the player?

Yes, colored line is present in first two levels as a lazy (2 days is tough!) soft tutorial, for player to get used to the pathfinding mechanisms. It is easier to see where students collide, and also the second level teaches that colliding head on head does not work, you need a corner for that.

And later on there are no lines, because figuring out where the students will go is part of the puzzle itself :)

The concept of ``making couples`` is so cute and funny and the execution is so well done, having all screens be in watercolor really fits with the aesthetic. The only thing that needs a bit more work done is the main menu.

I've never seen paper animation in a game before. It's cool but I wish there were more graphics in-game for the 2 lovers.

The in-game character graphics and cutscenes were the very next thing we wanted to do, I literally have all cutscenes and sprites on me right now, but there was just not enough time to implement them, 2 days is sooo little...
