This is really creative. The pause mechanic I found especially clever. I think the game could have used some more difficult levels, though---I never felt particularly challenged or puzzled by any of them. Good work on this!

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback! Our idea was in fact to show the potential of the game, without blocking the player with real challenges in this first prototype. Anyway we are programming lots of expansions, even in difficulty, in the upgraded version of the product! Stay tuned if you like :D

What an interesting take! Great work on the puzzles, really enjoyed them :)

Really awesome idea!  Love the art and puzzles, great job!

Awesome, when I saw the interface fall instead of the character moving, you made my day!

Developer

We are really glad you enjoyed our take! Thank you very much <3

Really cool concept ! The "pause" level is coming at the perfect timing, it amazed me !

Developer

Thank you very much! We are glad you enjoyed it :D

This game is really fun and well made! When I tried to move the character and the UI element started moving I honestly laughed out loud. I also love the fact that the dummies are just standing there doing nothing, such great sense of humor.

Our game was also kindda "dummy" themed too, but we took it in a different direction. Anyways, great game. Congratulations!

Love this game! The mechanics are simple and enjoyable!

Really fun, short and sweet game. I especially like the last level, it really made you feel quite smart when you solved it. I would definitely like to see a more fleshed out version of this.

Developer

Thanks for you kind words! We already have several ideas that we would like to test and implement, so stay tuned if you like! :D

What a great and unique interpretation of the theme! I also loved how you used the aesthetics of Mark's Magnet Game. Well done!

Thank you very much for the feedback! It is actually a complete coincidence to tell the truth, but it is definitely a funny coincidence

A fun and unique concept, excellent presentation and great pixel art. As you might guess from our my game I have a soft spot for good pixel art.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing and for the good feedback!

A very creative game! The presentation is great as well. The core gameplay is good as well. I did eventually got stuck on the level where you can first pause. It’s a pretty sudden jump in difficulty that seemingly goes from requiring careful thought to precise movement. Though maybe that’s just the platform being glitchy, since it doesn’t behave like any of the platforms before it. Either way, I really liked the part of the game I was able to play, so great job!

Developer

It seems that you have found one of the bugs that we are aware of, and we are sorry that this has ruined your experience. After the challenge is over we will work hard to try to fix all the problems that you and other users are reporting, thank you very much! <3

I was caught so off guard when I THE TUTORIAL BOX MOVED; But, great game! I'd love to see this idea expanded with more levels and mechanics.

Developer

We are glad you enjoyed our game, thanks! We already have several ideas that we would like to test and implement, so stay tuned if you like! :D

THIS IS AMAZING!! It's so funny. I didn't expect that the character would be the literal sign of "press x to move" haha. I'm looking forward the next updates!!

Thank you so much! Really enjoyed your game guys :D

OMG, What an amazing game design and mechanics. It's so funny to play this game. I'm absolutely in love. Please, tell me you're going to expand this game in the future.

One of my favourites of the jam, for sure. Congratulatioons <3<3

Thanks for you kindness, we are glad you enjoyed our game! We have tons of ideas to test and implement while whishing to expand "Input to Action". Ideas that for example we discarded due to the time limit of the challenge. Thanks again for your feedback, seeing messages like this really give us the charge and energy to keep up!

This is a cool idea well done, and I like that you put a few different mechanics to use in there :)

Developer(+1)

Glad you like our game, thanks!

Wow, that last puzzle was really cool, I'd love to play more levels with the pause mechanic! I definitely would've loved access to all actions at all times (which would be doable if wasd was replaced by arrow keys) but I'm not sure if that'd make the puzzles too easy. Very creative and well executed!

Developer

Thank you so much! :D

Well done with making a really fun puzzle game. The only thing I struggled with was the controls even though I knew what I had to press it was difficult to seamlessly use them. Overall great game.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We know that controls may seem a bit too cluncky in some instances, but we are already designing ways to better feedback to the player what is happening and also to give a certain degree of tolerance to the "tutorial switch" mechanic. Thanks again <3
