VERDICT📝
Starting off with my favorite parts: the art and sound were brilliant. The game created a creepy atmosphere with its low-poly graphics that I absolutely loved. The attention to detail in the sound design was fantastic—especially how the walking sound would change depending on the type of floor you were on, and how the ambient sound shifted as you moved from one section to another. Great work. However, I’m not entirely convinced by the theme implementation. I understand what they were going for, but I’m not sure it fully connects. I really liked the camera mechanic, but I’m struggling to see how it ties into the “Built to Scale” theme, especially since it was the major mechanic. That said, it’s impressive to see such ambition in a game developed in just 96 hours. I loved the style, and it’s a very solid game overall. I noticed they’re expanding on these ideas in their upcoming game "Carnival Massacre" on Steam—definitely worth wishlisting if this game caught your interest.

Deserved a much higher score, this was awesome!!
Fun fact - when using an Apple mouse, it is not possible to aim and take photo at the same time. If right click is held, left click does not work.
OK was not expecting somethin like this to show up here, but its really neat, a pretty interesting way to do the theme!
The game is pretty well made for 96 hours. The camera movement gave me a bit of sickness for it's low framerate.
I don’t do well with scary games but wanted to check it out for the jam. You already had my anxiety heightened walking through the corn field so slowly to the house. The buildup there felt pretty good. I think the game captures horror pretty well without using jump scares and loud noises. The end seemed very anticlimactic and not very scary. I kind of expected to be more afraid so I did come out of it a tad disappointed.
Nice style and fog, good atmosphere all around.
Great game and artstyle! My only small issue is the walk speed is to low.
I like these kind of exploration game, not that much into horror stuff though.
An earie music would have been really great.
This is a cool game, it has such a great atmosphere and the photo developing mechanic was very fun. Great job!
I've been eaten by house indeed. Cool atmosphere. Mouse sensitivity is crazy high though (or at least In a web version). Cool game nonetheless. Good work.
I do not get how to progress in the game, but the creepy atmosphere is incredible.
Oh hey! You're the person who made a creepy game about the haunted lighthouse in last year's Scream Jam! It's nice to see you participate in this jam and create another scary and creepy game! That being said, I wonder if there was a way to get out of the house after I finish all of my tasks? Or was my character doomed from the beginning?
It’s unplayable my PC doesn’t run it, it only ran for 1 minute and crashed
Wow there is so much packed in such a small space. This game is crazy cool. I inspire to be this good one day.
Wish the walking and shaking the pictures was faster but the game looks very well made
This game was very well put together especially given the timeframe. I enjoyed it wholly.
Incredible portrait of the rabbit, I took several pictures. I was then [redacted]
Idk if that counts toward the theme tbh lol. But solid stuff. Good job adjusting the sound. One or a few of the footstep sounds for the wood have a weird crunch to them. Going from the outside into the house could use a fade in between the ambient backgrounds.
The atmosphere is really creepy, but that's all. Jumpscares happen only when you take a picture, which makes them very predictable. Also, the whole spooky vibe disappears when entering the attic, since it stops being realistic. Not to mention that the game has no original feature that would make it unique or to tie it to the theme.
Good luck with your Steam game though!
An atmospheric project! Unfortunately I got stuck in the basement unable to get out :(
