Fun game. Being absolutely atrocious at WASD meant I couldn't do much, but I could easily see the concept and how the game was supposed to work. Good job!

Thanks for checking it out! Would alternate or customisable control schemes have made a big difference for you? It's often something that gets overlooked in jams

For a jam, arrow keys might have helped, just because trying to control the beam while also using the key to switch which size was operating was difficult. I completely understand control issues as this kind of thing probably needed a gamepad joystick to really use well, but not everyone will have that readily available while trying out jam games.

Fun concept, and fun game, but it's very hard to line up the beam with the objects in 3D. The rate of shrinking/growing also feels way too slow to keep up with the objects in the second and third rounds, which makes it feel like you never have enough time to even get things right and doesn't feel fun.

Still, in spite of that, the game is pretty good! I like the 2.5D aesthetic.

Thanks for checking the game out. I think those are all fair pieces of feedback. With a bit more time we would have play tested more and tweaked some of those things. For instance, we did dabble with the idea of moving away from a laser (which uses a raycast behind the scenes) to a spotlight with an area for detection. We also considered having a cooldown-based ability to "boost" the power of the laser which might have helped with the grow/shrink speed issues.

simple yet addicting game! getting 100% exactly was pretty satisfying and i like how the items + conveyor belt gets progressively more difficult

This was surprisingly fun and pretty addictive haha. Clever take on the theme, and fun little arcadey kind of game. I was thinking to expand the game it might be cool if later rounds used multiple tracks to add more usage to moving the laser forward and backward, and to make things even more hectic. Another suggestion would be an endless mode to just see how long you can go until you get some number of mistakes. Anyway nice job, really enjoyed this.

Nice execution, I would've liked the conveyor to speed up a little faster. Oh and the laser sound is pristine!

Thanks for checking it out! By round 3 the conveyor gets pretty fast, but maybe the pace should pick up sooner. I'm gonna get my VM set up and give your game a go before the deadline closes!
