Adding tower defence mechanics was really clever, you’ve got pop bubbles to keep them away from the monsters, but you’ve also got to preserve them so that you don’t lose your troops. Great take on theme too, well done!

Super interesting genre mashup. really fun and unique to play! Towers feel a little too samey though

I would never have thought that this genre could be turned into a tower defense, and even with on-the-go upgrades))

Very good work, very unique concept

The art is also good - the game feels not just a concept, but a polished jam project

Nice mix of the tower defense and bubble shooter! I like that two games are not separated, and towers working as bubbles adds a good amount of depth. It creates a moment of choice such as 'I want to destroy this bubble but doing so will lose me a tower'.

I found out spamming cannons is the best strategy, maybe you could give more incentive to use other types of towers. One example idea is to make a tower more expensive each time you purchase that tower.

I intended to have cannons not attack air units (gargoyles) and to be too slow to deal with big waves of small units. In practice, I only had about 15 minutes at the end of the 48 hour window for balance! So there are a few overpowered strategies. Thanks for the feedback!

It's a bubble shooter with a very interesting twist! I love it! I kept on losing because of the enemies eating all of the bubbles that made its way to the middle of the screen, though. ^_^;;;

Popping bubbles is a classic and you implemented it very well. I do think I found a small bug where one of the blue bubbles got frozen in mid-air, but apart from that everything went smoothly. I kept trying to figure out what kind of placement would work well for my soldiers. Ultimately I just went full on archers and it worked pretty well until my bubbles came down too far. Fun way to mix some extra strategy into the mix. Great job!!

thanks for playing! there were worse bugs along the way, so i'll settle for a frozen bubble bug haha

great entry!

I love this game! It's so cool and I like how it takes an existing game and develops on top of it.

Well done remix of a classic!

Nice work, a very well made game. I didn't realise you could bounce the projectiles off the wall, that was a game changer. Solid art style, very satisfying when you hit a big chunk and it all comes tumbling down.

Not sure it really fits the theme but I had fun anyway!
