Cool idea! Good work!

Just wanted to drop in and remark on how elegant this design is. For my first game jam I put together a very similar concept, but this is leagues more fun just because it's much simpler - I really dig the timing aspect of the launch (my game had a slider to adjust), and moving the hole to increase difficulty is an excellent idea.

My only criticism is that level 5 is a significant difficulty spike: I'd have appreciated a smoother ramp up to that. I'd love to see an expanded version with different planets (maybe some bounce the ball off, so you need to ping-pong through levels) and balls (heavier variants have more momentum but are tough to squeeze through small gaps).

Fantastic work, especially for 48hrs.

The Three-Body Problem

This is funny. The last jam I did had sun golf, and now...moon golf lol

Nice job! i got my last shot in 33.

Pretty fun concept, impressive for 2 days!

The game is quite challenging and interesting to boot! I do kind of agree with some of the other comments that there could be some adjustments made to make it easier for players to know how to improve their shots (I.e. An arrow marker so you can see what direction your ball will go before you shoot, or knowing where your ball last landed). But the game was still quite fun and the music was good too!

Excellent idea! I also thought about making something in a 'planetary' scale and playing with gravity, but ended up going a different way. Only wish there were more levels, extremely fun!

Awesome art style and color palette! Really creative take on the theme! Awesome job!

Great game, nice difficulty curve!

Very Cool Concept!!

It is hard to know how to improve the shot, but I am guessing that is part of the game. The music is nice, I like it, I would love to see more levels with more items like spaceships or other celestial bodies. I really enjoyed it, good entry.

Great golf game, I liked the difficulty progression! I wish there was a way of seeing my previous shot as a reference point as I was sometimes hitting the same points multiple times, could be an optional assist? I think you have a cool concept here and can do a lot with it :D

This is a really smart concept, and leads to some pretty engaging level design. I think it could benefit from a few quality of life features, like a marker for your last shot's path and a button to speed up the timescale to better line up shots on levels with moving elements. Overall, however, I think it was really fun and well executed especially for a 48 hour game!

This is super clever and fun. The length is also perfect. Great music too.

good golf game, nice to see how you integrated the theme into it !

had a blast playing and finishing it :)

although I didn't understood the ball trajectory at first

Love how you not only have to use gravity to your advantage but you start by orbiting a planet.

Submitted

It's an interesting idea that you need to take into account the gravity of different planets to get the ball into the hole. But you also need to have a great eye to figure out what trajectory to launch the ball along)

Really fun to play and experiment with.

Would have loved for the asteroid to have an explosion on-hit on the planets x)
