How does your game fit the theme?
We interpreted the idea of "built to scale" as "made to measure": the idea of a customer coming with specific needs and the gameplay revolving around how you're going to build a ship to the scale of what they need. For this you need to gather data and listen to what details they give you and how you can get them safely to their destination.

Really cute and charming, I also like the humor of the little descriptions that these aliens and planets have! I got the hang of what my customers might want really quickly, and it was nice to see them get to their destinations without too many problems!
Thank you! We're glad you got the grip pretty quickly, we were worried that people might get a bit confused without a proper tutorial.
Really fun and unique take on the theme! I really loved the pixel art too, I think the little snake dudes were my favorite.
Thanks! Your game looks awesome too! I'm afraid of bugs, but those look cute af!
I love your pixel art style!! Its similar to what I was going for but yours has a lot more complex shapes and colors while still remaining simple! <3 love it
Thanks a lot for playing! We're glad you liked it, your game looks fantastic too (I love the squid's animations when he jumps around) <3
i couldn’t figure out how to get the ship assembler to open
You have to wait for the timer to end and it automatically sends you to the ship assembler! We didn't have time to implement a "skip" button but it will be in a future update after the jam ends.
The visual style is excellent, very interesting approach to the implementation of the jam idea, one of the worthy games
The alien's designs are AMAZING. They have so much charm. I always thought the paper please structure had the potential to be used in more games, glad to see it here!
I would love to have a bigger gameplay loop that punished you or rewarded you depending on how well you did, but it's understandable given the scope of a jam. A skip button once you read it all would have also come in very handy.
At first, I thought that coloring your ship was just visual, which is very neat, but was pleasantly surprised that it also had gameplay implications, very nice!
All in all a great submission, altho the aliens were too bitchy. I did everything right, give me my 5/5! Hahaha. Thank you for working on this!
Thank you! I really enjoyed your game aswell so that means a lot haha
This looks so incredibly good. Like, seriously, I am in complete awe if what you could achieve in 96 hours. Extremely fun to play as well. The only thing I didnt like is that you couldnt skip the reading + a tutorial. I cannot believe you have so few ratings, you deserve way, way more. I reaally hope you get featured in the video too.
Thanks! I'm glad to see other space-enthousiasts in this jam haha
Nice idea, and cool execution! I enjoyed the gameplay, it was a nice take on the theme. The art was also great! Congratulation to you all for this game!
Thanks! Congrats to you too for your game, I hope your jam went well :)
This game looks great, and the sense of place is so good - yes you're in space outfitting alien vehicles but it still feels like a mix between working as a cashier and a mechanic. Very nice.
I liked all the crazy alien guys I got to meet
This game looks so good and it's so polished and nice. Sounds are awesome art is awesome game play is awesome. You guys rocked this.
I think my only suggestion is that it'd be nice to be able to skip the timer once I've read through everything. I'm impatient though lol. Great job!!!!!!
Thanks for playing it! We'll definitely add this feature in a future update!
I enjoyed this game a lot! It’s such a unique interpretation of the theme. I’m very into games where details matter a lot to the gameplay, and it reminds a bit of Papers, Please! It’s also full of personality; it was really cool to see how much work was put into the worldbuilding for the different planets and alien races. The art is beautiful as well! The muted backgrounds plus colorful characters jive togther fantastically.
It took a few tries to fully understand the game entirely, but once I did, I was locked in, and it really is fulfilling to actually get it right (and not have clients explode). I know that the text being slow is all a part of the game, and allows the player to switch between screens to multitask taking in all the information, but I think the playing experience would benefit from the text being just a bit faster. Likewise, a tutorial before the actual game would be a nice touch as well!
But overall, a wonderful experience. This is the first game I’m rating after the jam ended, so thank you for letting me kick it off with a super cool one! :D
Thank you for your review! We're glad you liked it, we hope you had a good jam btw :)
