Nice! I definitely found things a bit more challenging this time around. The only change I'd like to see if you guys continue working on this is to add descriptions to the weapons and upgrades in the store just so that it's a bit clearer what they actually do, maybe when you hover the mouse over them or something. Otherwise great stuff!

Really cute and fun game! I really appreciate whoever did the sound effects, the old explosion sfx when the otter disappeared had me laughing. The items didn't feel too useful and I didn't really end up using them, even if they were buffed it felt like the hectic nature of managing the salon didn't leave a lot of room to end up using them. Still really fun game! I think I managed to upgrade everything in 31 days with only a few angry customers which was cool. :p
Really fun game! I'd love it if the final score was broken down into different categories just so I knew where to improve, and it looked like some of the UI stuff (like the pouring bar and the timers) were at a slight angle so it was a little hard to time them right, but that's mostly just nitpicking tbh. I also really like the art for all the different dragons (the little dude peeking over the counter was def my fav lol) and the 3D models. Great and cozy game!!!
Loved this, I really felt like I was ratatouille but with a survival horror twist. I liked the platforming controls, they didn't feel floaty and felt just right. The scaling mechanic was also very intuitive and really well implemented. The chef enemy was also cool even if it was very clear that he wasn't cheesed to meet me. But for real great stuff!
Nice score! I kinda wanna start a leaderboard in the description or something with how many people that have gotten super high ones (I think the highest I've seen is ~800,000 lol). Thank you for the feedback though! We're planning on updating our game with a WebGL version sometime after the jam ends so we'll definitely try and iron out those issues. But thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed our game!!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked our silly little pillbug :P I agree that the shooting to move mechanic probably isn't most original gameplay mechanic, but we needed some mechanic for the player to make sudden corrections in their movement and shooting seemed way more fun than like a dash mechanic or something. Anyways glad you had fun with our game!!
Thanks for the feedback! I do agree that the level design could've used a little more balance/variety/polish, especially with the placement of the notes. We also tried to get the ball mode to have more vertical movement in the beginning by having the ground be more hilly so it would launch you up into the air, but ultimately playtesting showed that it hindered movement more than helped it and we had to end up scrapping it since we were running low on time. Anyways thank you for checking out our game and I'm glad you had fun with it!
A fellow game with a grappling hook!!
I loved the pixel art for this, especially the little intro cutscene. The UI was really good too, I loved how animated the text was, especially how the text in the pause menu swung around. I also liked how unique the controls/gameplay were, the only thing I didn't like about them was how the bats could just stay inside your ship after they hit you, it made it really hard to recover if you were already low on energy. Other than that it was a really fun game though! Good work!
For science! :)
