This is a really neat ship building game! It was fun to restart the game and try different ships each time. Overall well done!

Nice small game! My opinion is pretty similar to the last person, it's fun to plan ahead to beat the threat :D! Congratulation for making this!

Interesting building game where the planning is the majority of the game. took me a few tries to find what works but once I got the hang of it it made sense and I could defend the earth

Submitted(+2)

Really enjoyed it! Would be nice if we can move the entire spaceship in the customisation

Submitted(+1)

Lots of customization for your spaceship even with just blocks and directional thrusters/guns! It was fun and challenging to design a ship for each enemy that got bigger/more complex. Great job!

Really enjoyable game, great work! It'd be great to also have power-ups to make the guns and thrusters more powerful.

If "Beisege" was a small space shoot 'em up game
Nice idea and execution!

Actually had a blast playing this game, its actually really fun, to think on how to build in order to survive, move and attack properly is really captivating. Congrats!

I was happy when I avenged the dinosaurs but I wanted more, Ihad a bit of frustration that doing a tiny and speedy ship was not as optimal as a big tanky firing to only one side, still enjoyed it a lot, Great job you 3 :)

I defeated the [classified] and saved the earth thanks to [classified]!

Aside from a few minor placement glitches and quality of life issues (audio for guns too loud in comparison for example), everything went smoothly, with just the right amount of difficulty.

I would have appreciated a health bar for my ship too (maybe I missed it?) and I feel like the "shoot them up" aspect is not really a strong point since I managed to get through the game with way more strategy than skill.

However, I really loved how free I was to come with my own ship designs for every situation, balancing its capabilities carefully.

Excellent game overall, I enjoyed playing it a lot and would 100% be down for 30 more levels, congrats to all the team!

Thanks for the review ! And nice work on your own game x) We thought of adding a health bar for the player too but failed to figure out how to convey which bar was which without taking too much screen room so opted on only one. And yes at the core we wanted to make a ship-building game, and the shmup part is more of a way to test your design than your skills

Loved it! It reminded me of the Kingdom Hearts shipbuilder. Got super stuck on the 4th level but with a bit more strategy sorted it. I liked that I could customise my ship build for each enemy

Developer(+1)

Yes Kindgom Hearts miiiiight have been an inspiration x) thanks for playing !

Very good concept, great cutscenes and game mechanics. I like that you have to think and plan you ship creation, manage resources, there's a lot of possibilites to explore.
I didn't really like the sound and music. They were a bit too loud and not as satysfying. I think good audio would elevate the whole experience few levels above)

Thanks for the review ! Heading to your page now to return the favor ;) Sorry about the loud sounds, we didn't really have much time to put into mixing.

I liked it, its fun to build the spaceship, Only thing is that theres usally nothing stopping you from just using all 4 direction tiles.
Fun game, good job!

Hi, thanks for playing ! We wanted to make the players able to move in every direction if they want to, but the added weight means that for each direction you had the ones that you already have are less efficient. And sure ! We'll definitely give your game a try as well :)

The game is pretty fun! I really enjoyed building my ship. Although, I couldn't understand the premise at first, when I did, i found the game really creative. A tutorial would have been nice, but overall good game!
p.s: it would be nice if you played my game as well ;)

Thanks for the review ! Looking forward to return the courtesy :) And yes we tried to cram a bit of tutorial information in the narration, but a full length tutorial would have been one of the polishing touches we would have liked to make time for

Great game, and I loved the humor. I also think that the art style and creativity is some of the best I've seen. Theme wise however, I don't think the game fits it very well, and I also think that it gets repetitive. One think you could try to do to fix the repetitiveness of it, would be by making more unique aliens earlier, and letting us have more blocks would also be great. All of these are only suggestions though, and you can probably find way better solutions.

Thanks for playing ! And yes, more ship parts options was definitely something we would have done given more time
