I suggested a very similar game for our team! (platformer where you collect parts that give you more platforming powers). But we went a different direction. Still wound up with the same name though!

I'm really glad you guys made this though -- and did it so well! The platforming felt really good. Honestly the jump/aesthetic reminded me a little of VVVVVVV, but a little more forgiving. I liked the progression of abilities and platforming obstacles, and while the game was short, it showcased the mechanic well enough to give you an idea of the larger game you'd be playing (if this project were continued). The leaderboard was also a nice touch. Gave me a reason to try to beat it again, as fast as I could.

Really great job!

Love how the game is short and you can compete with others.

I had an absolute blast with this one! Great job, lovely game. Lovely music.

I like the art and the music! I like the leaderboard at the end, but I don't think I am going to get on that one...lol.

Not the craziest idea, but it's got clean platformer movement and a very nice original style. Love how the colors slowly changed as you ascended (though they accidentally(?) changed the player character's colors), and I like the (unintended?) potential for a skip.

I wish there were more to it, but it was made in 48 hours, so I can give that a pass. Great job!

the map is really neat!  i love how you had the ledges near bottom left to help you get back up (minimizing unnecessary backtracking if you fall)

Developer

Thank you for playing! The ledges were just a small idea I had when I was designing the level but everyone seems to appreciate them.

Really good game, I love the unlocking skills mechanic and how you use them, I don't know but your highscore system seems to be broken. Really good game and platformer I enjoyed it

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback and super happy you enjoyed it! Unfortunately we didn't catch the problems with our high score system before the deadline for the jam passed so there's not much we can do about it now. Everyone'll have to post their times in the comments like the good old days :3

I love this game. It kills me every time i almost got a new skill. You really konw what the players are gonna do and meet.

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you had the best jam <3

This is the first so ... Ok just let it be the best!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Cute little platformer, and nice title! I think the camera could have used a little work (I generally don't like it when the camera strictly follows the player around), but other than that, controls were fine. Nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the love and thanks for the feedback! Hope you had a lovely jam <3

Developer

Thanks for the feedback about the camera movement! I'll keep that in mind for the future.

The visuals are really nice, along with the sounds! Great entry.

Glad you enjoyed the ~aesthetics~ Hope you had a lovely jam!

Cute little game, I really enjoyed it (I'd love to beat my score, but I have tons of other games to test ;), congrats on making it in 48h! :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Likewise!

the art is very reminiscent of the pico 8 version of celeste, nice game. I really thought my climbing robot idea would be more original lol.

Developer(+2)

Glad you enjoyed it! If the price for being unoriginal is a bunch of cute robot platformers I never want to be original again ahahah

Submitted(+1)

Reminds me of Celeste

Developer(+1)

High praise!

Developer

Thanks, it was one of the inspirations

Submitted(+1)

This was really cute! loved the vibe with the sound track, really compliments the art style. I'm not sure if the leader-board is updating? managed to get a 37.25!

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much! Glad you loved our ~vibe~ I'll talk to Manic about the leaderboards but everything should be working smoothly

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing our game! I discovered a bug with the leaderboard a few hours after submissions ended, so it's not working as much as I wished it would. But I'm glad you appreciated the cozy vibe of the game.

Submitted

No worries at all! online leader-boards are already something pretty crazy to include

Submitted(+1)

I love the small shortcuts you can take to improve the speedrun time. The whole game is really cute and cozy game :3

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed it! We strive for coziness when we are not trying to be spooki

Developer

Thank you for playing! I think the music does a really good job at making the game feel cozy.

stoppp don't make me blush O ~ O

Fun little platformer demo here, and the soundtrack and art were super nice to go along with it! Had a lot of fun trying to reach the top of the leaderboard, and finally found enough timesave to get me there >:)

(Ending with a 34.14 for now. Somebody will probs beat this soon, but was fun to grind it down to what I felt was a pretty solid time :p)

Edit: Okay, one idea for a timesave got stuck in my end, and I ended up squeaking out a 32.07. I think I'll finally let it rest there, but yeah, that was fun :)

Developer(+1)

Super happy you found the game engaging and enjoyed the soundtrack! I'll be doing my best to dethrone your time so expect to fight for your position eheheh

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! When one of my friends was playtesting, he found a way to complete it in sub 30 secs. He'll probably challenge your time later.

Submitted(+1)

Very good! The music and overall vibe is very nice and relaxing. And it seems that you have a functioning online leaderboard, which is very impressive!

One small complaint is that the camera feels a bit jerky when you jump. This is pretty common for platformers, and one possible way to fix this is by having a zone in the center of the screen where the camera doesn't move unless you go outside that zone.

Anyway, great stuff! Though I am a liittle bit dissapointed that someone else made a game about a robot scaling a mountain (:

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much for playing and glad you enjoyed the music and vibe! Thanks for the feedback and don't be too disappointed great minds think alike (;

Developer

Thanks for playing! The leaderboard is having a bit of issues atm but it is mostly working 😅

I also thought the camera felt jerky when I was testing, but I couldn't think of a solution. I'll keep your feedback in mind for the future.

Enjoyable plateformer and nice art!
