The theme is present, and the driving mechanics work as intended. A little setup for the camera view would help a lot. Great game.
That was interesting! Got a little bit of a psychonauts with crazy taxi feel!
What a hilarious game. Loving the fact that there is a growing traffic jam (scaling traffic jam? nudge nudge) as time passes on. Finished with a big smile on my face, highly enjoyable. Great game!
I absolutely love the themeing on this with being a delivery driver in the body. The squashing and stretching felt very natural in how it increased/decreased speed and turn speed. Also very impressive to get a traffic sim up and running within a jam, it was fun seeing the cars drive around. Game felt a bit too easy though and I gave up after 8 minutes.
The mechanic with scaling your car to either be fast or have better turn speed was a really creative and fun idea - We liked that it had significant impact instead of minor number changes! It changed how we played the game, and we liked it!
If we were to pick an area of improvement, the collision handling with the other vehicles could use some tuning.
The art was good, and we especially enjoyed all the UI graphics - Very cool, very stylish, very chic. 10/10.
Well done!
Thank you! I'll give you a peak under the hood about the collision. Everything is pretty much being faked, it may look like a car but in reality it's more like a hamster ball with some added collision. Definitely would like to try to fine tune it some more.
Really impressive scale. 3D jam games are crazy to me to begin with. But the scale of the map on this one is really something else. I did keep getting stuck in traffic in the tunnels. Which I get it part of the deal when you're playing a game called "bloody traffic"
Thanks you!!! Did you try combining the Squash Ability and making the car really thin to go under them? It might not always work but it can get you through some surprisingly big pile ups!
The game was extremely laggy for me, but it looks great!
Adorable city driving game. Ran into a slight problem where landing on a sloped surface could get the car stuck, but thankfully adjusting the car shape and size could usually get the car unstuck. Could definitely see scaling this game up quite a bit.
Absolute banger! It has a real nostalgic feel for me. It has such a PS2/N64 era style that's just so lovable.
Since the dawn of time, I had this longing relating to my purpose, a longing left unanswered because my parents forced me to pursue a degree in engineering or computer science, something "practical" they called it. But deep down, I just really wanted to deliver pills to red blood cells while getting stuck in traffic and manipulating my physical existence at whim. But I guess it was too much to ask for. I was made fun of at school. They called me mean names like "bad delivery boy" or "stupid" or... or "cholesterol." "You'll never transport materials in the human body." "You're living a world of make believe! Do you know how small a red blood cell is?" (That one really stung). Surrounded by doubtful audiences and manipulation, my true purpose died, and so I became an engineer. I just wanted to make my father proud. For all those long years, I was a sheep that wondered off from his Shepard. I was alone in a dark forest. Each day became more grueling than the last. That was until I stumbled upon a great divinity: Bloody Traffic. It came down from the heavens while an otherworldly choir of rich harmonic nature sounded. Bloody Traffic reignited an inextinguishable joy in my heart that was once buried far below. My days of engineering are over; my Shepard has found me; my days of waiting for the day to end only to be greeted with the next are over. I can pursue my calling.
Thank you.
I have never read a more emotional story.
The game feels incredibly good and has no business being this fun to play. Very, very creative take on the theme also. I really hope you get more ratings
I really liked how scaling also affected the movement properties of the car!
This was super duper cute! The ability to squish yourself down like a pancake was super nice. Gonna use this when prepping for my driving test. <3
dis game is joookes and cute. Enjoyed the chaos but it felt like the happy little cells doing their duty! Shrink, grow and stretch were well suited mechanisms for this context and world :)
Really enjoyed this game! Loved the mechanics of being able to shrink and grow, and the eyeball helper in the tutorial was super cute. Overall enjoyed nyooming around, really enjoyed this!
Cool! The car properties changing on the fly is really awesome. I would widen those blood tunnels, the other cars have a hard time not blocking the way, even with the tools at your disposal. Otherwise, sick!
very cool! its really fun when you get a hang of how changing the scale of the car changes its speed and handling, it becomes very fluid!
super cool concept as well, like if i was that pill guy from osmosis jones but a car
Really really enjoyed this game and the theme of it! I have caused many blood clots today :)
My only real comment is the backing up camera is a bit frustrating cause I can't see anything, and I am not super familiar with driving games, idk if it is common for turning lefts and rights to not also go forward in the direction you are facing, but takes a bit of finagling with controls to get use to
Thanks for the feedback, and thank you for playing!
