Remarkable. Took me a bit to realize what I was doing, and even then I can see the potential to min/max this thing like crazy. The reveal after you build your first bit was just jaw dropping. Wonderful :D
Absolutelly beautiful game and I love the aesthetic of space turtle with a landscape on its back. Unfortunately I struggled with the gameplay. It took me a while to realise how to turn to line up my shields and the first enemy I came across was shilded everywhere except its south but getting behind it to shoot the unarmoured spot was a nightmare because of course it kept turning towards me.
Gorgeous game but was a bit frustrating at times
Awesome art style!!!! Really pretty game! Really nice take on the theme! Well done!
The Game Design and packaging of different features is impressive! The theme is also fun and inventive. Nice work!
The games art style is absolutely phenomenal, its such a pretty game.
I wish there were alot more combat abilities that maybe require you to place them on a given side since anything but north seemed not necessary to me, like something like a dash you can only place at the south, or a side dodge that you can place on either west or east
Has to be one of my favorites for the style and visuals alone though
There is a lot of cool ideas packed into this. The art as well is gorgeous. The combat could use some movement abilities to get some additional mobility but for the time of the jam, a lot went into this and I love it!
The idea, the setting, the visuals, the music, the meaning of even the smallest change in the landscape of the world on a cosmic turtle's back - all this creates such a wonderful experiene! This is a great entry in all terms, I really enjoyed the game 🌱 The battles looks so intense yet I feel rather confident and calm, I did achieve victory in the end. 🐢
This is my favourite on this jam for now.
I like how you designed the feeling of different scales. Style is amazing.
We considered to do something simular, but desided to use another idea:)
Fantastic and very impressive for a 96 hour jam! The music is also very nice. Love it all around :)
why do i have to attack beutiful see creatures :(( all jokes, great artwork and sound design, you have the atmosphere part down. gameplay loop also feels nice, but i couldnt see what was were when putting the structures so that could be improved
That was awesome! Loved the concept and the creativity on display. It's a well crafted short experience which I would like to see more of.
If I had to give one point of improvement: it was hard to see which land was already covered by the structures.
Loved it! I suck at it and my placment was horrible but this was incredibly fun and its crazy that it was made in 96 hours! love it!

Ah, the cycle of nature. One giant turtle destroys a number of other sea creatures before entering a quasar and forming further turtles.
This game is a delight to look at. The animation to the tilesets in the build area is really well done, as are the combat VFX. The music is serene, and the vibe is impeccable.
In terms of gameplay, the idea is solid but needed a little more polish. When placing buildings, it was hard to see land that was already used, and to know what the best combos are more than intuition and guesswork of trying areas out (unless I missed a tooltip?). The strategy for building is mostly just get the best tools no matter the direction, then in combat I tended to spin in circles activating all my gear and watching the fireworks.
A paragraph about improvements does not mean I don’t think this game is excellent, well done!
