Very cool click combat game!
I think it's very cool that you took what could be a flaw in another game - sprites overlapping making it hard to select the one you want - and turned it into a feature of the game. I could shrink the body to lower its health, but then it might shrink behind the shield, forcing me to destroy that first.
Yes! This was indeed one of the main idea behind this design. Obviously it'd require pixel perfect collision detection to work flawlessly, but I'm very glad that you were able to enjoy the game!
ok this is hilarious hahah. I love how absurd some of the scaling can get. Really nice job! I do wish the dice roll was quicker - it really starts to make me impatient after a while lol. Thanks for making it!
We're obviously missing an UX specialist because we implemented the ability to click again to stop the dice roll immediately, but not that many people understood that :(
But I appreciate very much for the feedback, hopefully you've enjoyed it otherwise!
ah dang I'm bummed I missed that. I'll prob go back in for another round then 😈 Yeah otherwise it is a fun time!
The dice roll was super addicting! I love the buffs at the end of each level too :D
Really cool and unique concept!
Fun and really enjoyable!
This game was a unique take on the theme! Although I thought "Roll of the dice" was the theme for another year ;)
Art, style, and presentation were on point! Really great job.
Awesome game!, The concept is so unique and cool. ^w^
Love this idea! The scaling strategy is really unique and pretty fun. Generates some funny moments with comically large swords and such
I love the unique aspect of the game. The art style really matches the title and the theme, it's fantastic. The gameplay tends to feel a bit slow, but I like the option between attacking and using the dice roll, gives you some play area! Also the power-ups between the matches are a nice touch. The ability to attack different body parts, to see part information, and etc is quite exciting, I personally like detailed games, so that was a plus! I would love to see some extra moves be added and maybe a character customization feature?!
Goodluck in your jam!
Loved this implementation of the theme, very unique! The characters had plenty of charm to it, loved it!
Neat concept and I loved the aesthetic.
Really fun game, probably the best I've played so far ! I played for like an hour haha its so fun to scale
Very happy to hear that you've enjoyed the game!
Really fun game, probably the best I've played so far ! I played for like an hour haha its so fun to scale
this got real dark real fast lol
jokes aside, I wasn’t expecting everything to have a hitbox/stats coming into it, really cool - really caught me by surprise.
scaling stats is such an obvious interepretation in retrospect, wish we had thought of it
solid complete package, I find it hard to find something to suggest as improvement
Thanks you for the detailed review! Glad you enjoyed it!
At first I thought it was too easy because I kept focusing on the enemy body but then as the rounds grew tougher I realized the strategy in targeting different limbs. Elegantly simple and impressive!
Thank you for the kind words!
MY GOD! How did you manage to make a fully fleshed out game in 4 days i have no idea, but this is one of the best ones i've played so far:
Creativity:
MEGA creative, scaling your and your enemies body parts to change stats is not something i was expecting, and the combat is very interesting and the game very balanced, i myself made it to floor 10 before dying. The perks are on point as well. Maybe i missed something, but is there any point in attacking anything other than the body? I really like this one. Sometimes the body parts got small enough they were unclickable but that's a minor issue.
Art:
This is very well made and both the art and UI reflect that, everything was clear and understandable and the art was very fun and fitting. I loved the character design and perk icons. Very good artstyle and everything fits together.
Sound design:
A game with full sound design? That's very impressive and rare. The music fits the game and sound great. The game could use a sound slider though. The sounds were on point and fit the game well

Overall.. HOLY you managed to drop a full experience with no noticable flaws, and you should be SUPER proud of yourselves
10/10
sooo cool, really great job! Its so fun
This is a very fun and interesting roguelike. I love the concept of shrinking different body parts/items to make the battle be in your favor. I did not quite understand the rewards after each fight only because their description, but I think the pictures on them made it obvious. Nicely done
This game is so much fun and addicting. The use of theme is great.
