This must be what maintaining AWS feels like.  I really like this game, it ramps up really nicely!

If you continue to work on it though it needs two things for sure.  The player needs to be taught how to play and how the systems interact.  I can intuit that more computers help create fulfilment and keep wait times low, but I'm not sure exact how CPU and RAM factor into that for example.  Eventually when things got too hectic to keep up I just kept buying server racks and slotting in servers and I ended up with more money than I could spend.  It's good that the game is easy for a jam, but I'd love to understand how it works more!

The game also needs some sounds!  Probably not for every request or customer that comes in because that would be too much, but at least for purchasing some space, plopping down some computers, or slotting servers into a rack!  An error sound could be cool when computers die and need to be replaced.

Awesome job, I had a lot of fun!

Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback! I definitely agree the game would benefit from a tutorial and sounds and a lot more work in general! :D

Good Concept!

I like the concept behind this, the interpretation of the theme was pretty creative in my opinion. Once I got the hang of things I really enjoyed the experience! The whole thing was just well done for a jam game and I believe it has a lot of potential to be polished and expanded post-jam! Good job.

Nice concept. Idle game + random upgrades. The game is a little confusing at first for my taste, but I liked it. With a little bit more polish (like numbers appearing on the users, or a little less static background) it could make a killer idle game. Nice one!

A nice little idle game with a great sense of progression and upgradeables! I would love for a little sound fx or music to give it some more game feel. But overall, this is a nice little entry. Great work!

I'll admit it had me hooked for a while! I enjoyed the immediate feedback with the faces but some extra visuals to see what's going on like graphs or meters would be nice. Also it took me a while to figure out how you're supposed to use the server racks, at one point I had no servers and had no idea why lol

Seems fun for an idle lover! Although couldn't really relate to the theme of the jam, but the game is fun :)

It was simple but dude those guys need to chill, if they dont have their servers they get mad so fast..

Quite annoying to have to drag and drop the server to the rack 4 times in a row each time I think I'd prefer to have a system similar to the one when you purchase a square of space. Fortunately there is a "feature" that sometmes make a server sprite stuck between two tiles so it's easier to drag and drop it from there to adjacent tiles. I think I went tryhard mode a bit too much at some point there were no client anymore because the previous one were all happy (but it didn't last long). I still think I beat the game because there was no other square to buy and an no upgrades left

I didn’t have time to add a victory condition, so buying everything is basically a win. And yeah, a lot about the server racks definitely needs some work! Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

Made it to Level 50, simple but fun game, great job!

I would consider adding an indicator to the racks that shows how many servers are currently filled, as when you have lots, it may not be obvious which ones you filled and which are empty, even moreso when you upgrade them to higher capacity and already had previous ones.
Also, the option to sell servers which havent reached their lifespan to upgrade them to better one could also be nice.
Overall, it's a really cool concept, I like idle games, and there aren't many of them focused around networking/infrastructure, with a bit more polish it could turn into a really nice idle game. Great job!

It's satisfying to watch the numbers go up, I just think the benefit from having more of goal or use for the money. The style is cute though!

very fun and cute game

Number go up. Who doesn't enjoy that! Very chill. Could really benefit from the addition of a 'ka-ching!' sfx whenever you earn money or upgrade to get that Pavlovian response going.

Very satisfying number-go-up type game.  Great response to the theme. I had a great time. Nice work!
