I love the art style and the mechanics is very unique. Very simple game but a lot to offer.
This is a cool submission. Some things I particularly liked were:
Great job
The gameplay and and art are great! I think the UI and game balance have the most room for improvement, since I was unable to get past the third level and it's difficult to keep track how many points you're getting. Great work, overall!
I really like this! Once I got the tooltips working the game was fun, but it's hard to know whether your placements were good, as doing all the math in your head is not really plausible. I think the game could start out a bit easier with the score requirements, but overall it's a really solid game!
Cool idea and very polished game, however due to a skill issue on my part I couldn't make it past the first level lol
This is a very cool game!, I liked it a lot, and its very well polished. I feel like with a bit more balancing i could keep playing it for hours. Awesome work!
Hell yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Really liked this! There are a lot of elements interacting with each other, the game feels complete. The shop offers some good decision-making. Very polished and well made, great job! :D
I enjoyed this a lot; it's addictive, I played it for a while.
Once I spent some time with it, though, I started having some problems. I feel like the whole thing is just a bit too random. It seemed that regardless of how much I tried to optimize, in the end, it just came down to the luck of the draw. That illusion of meaningful choice and a way to win can keep you motivated for a while, but this one would fall off quickly for me once I realized it was essentially gambling and the strategic element was shallow.
That being said, it isn't easy to design and balance something that way, and for a jam submission, this one does enough, a phenomenal job in this context!
I did notice the huge reliance on RNG was a big problem, actually. I thought a hand redraw mechanic could help mitigate that lot, but I didn't find the time to implement it given I needed to juggle everything else in the game. If I do go and work on it again it'll be one of the first things I add.
Thanks for the review, and I'm glad it was still fun despite its flaws!
That's a good one!
Nice combination of deck/city building, looks great, and gameplay is interesting and challenging. This is a great idea that can be expanded further. Well done :)
Great game but either I don't really get it or it becomes really hard midway ;D I had a great time playing it and would love to see it developed further. Great job!
