Really good level designs and clever use of scale/weight relation, reminded me Morph from Amiga while braking platforms while I'm heavy. Well done!
Thanks! I enjoyed playing your game as well!
Speedrun system + leaderboard was cool. Liked that I could bunny hop as well, I was able to choose whether to go fast or take it slow. Had fun with this one, good work!
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad that you enjoyed my game.
Scale (as in size) and scale (as in climbing). I'd say you nailed the theme! Mechanics and puzzles were good! It's too bad I'm not great a platformers. I couldn't finish it, but I like the concept! Also bonus points for sound control!
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed my game even though you didn't finish it.
really great concept and level design, i love how different sizes have different effects. really like the breakable platforms and how u used them to guide the player to change size.
Thanks for the comment!
I thought your level design was quite nice, and everything seemed to work well. I wish there was a more specific use for the normal sized box.
Yeah, I'll admit the normal size was underutilized in this game. I'm glad you liked the level design in my game, though.
Nice game! Clean implementation of the theme and the box scaling worked perfectly for the puzzles
Thanks for the comment!
Damn this is really clever and creative, I like it a lot, the music is sweet and implementation is solid! Only notso great thing I noticed is theming, why am I a blue cube changing size in a world with random wind streams? xD maybe a slime versus big frogs that blow air would be cooler. Still congrats for the great submission!
Drawing isn't one of my strengths, so I decided to go with random wind streams here and there. I'm glad you enjoyed the game, though!
Very simple but very well made!
Thanks!
Simple yet effective!
Thanks! I try to keep the game as simple as possible so that it is easy to play.
This is such a great game! Loved the mechanic of changing sizes, it was incorporated into the game so well. It made for some great puzzles and platforming. The level design was really great! I had a great time playing through this right through. Amazing work! 👍
Thanks for the comment! Your game was amazing, too!
Very well made!
Thanks!
fun and enjoyable
I'm glad you liked it!
Great concept! It's fun to think about what size I need to be to solve the puzzle.
Thanks for the comment! It's one of the things I've thought about during the planning phase of my game.
The mountain is so windy!
Indeed!
the music and simple art style made this very charming, was a great start to my day :) some feedback sounds for the jumps would be nice!
Thanks for the comment! I was planning on adding sound effects whenever the player jumps, but I took them out due to a glitch.
Really well put together puzzles and great tutorial!
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked the challenges I put in the game.
Nice game mechanics!
Thanks for the comment! I played your game and enjoyed it.
The movement needs some fine-tuning, and I feel like normal size is maybe a little underused, but there's definitely potential here.
I'll admit the wind physics didn't really work out the way I wanted it to. Had I spent more time on tweaking it, the game would've been better.
That was fun! The size changes have a good set of pros and cons to them, and the levels were readable and engaging.
The size change controls being based on key releases was a little unintuitive, but I got the hang of it.
Moving through the wind while small is a bit strange. It seems to preserve momentum in a way that mostly makes sense, but doesn't modify the player's actual speed when appropriate. For example, if you go down into a vertical shaft of wind that's blowing up, the wind will move the player as needed, but the player then starts falling at full speed upon leaving, even though they were being propelled upwards. It's a little tricky.
All-in-all, good work!
[EDIT: 8-20]: Also, the block destroying sound effect is a tiny bit too loud. It peaks the audio to -0.0 dB all by itself.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I had some trouble with the wind physics on GDevelop. Maybe if I spent more time on my game, I could've made it behave like actual wind instead of a sand or a water geyser in the Mario games. That along with tweaking the controls would've made the game a bit easier.
Also, (checks leaderboard) you're quick! I need to step up my game if I want to beat your high score!
