Fantastic! I'm really curious to see how many permutations the basic concept has. Could you have a version that requires pushable blocks? Re-recording new paths after partial objectives (with other variants still, such as "dead-zones" produced by the first path?) Notes-as-conduits for something? A very interesting design space you have here!

Those are great ideas! We are so glad you enjoyed it!

Great Game !!!!

At first, where is the scaling aspect..?? Until... Oh yea.... It's music !!!!

The puzzle for the level 1-3 is quite easy, but we need more than ten attempts to beat the last level 💀

Amazing idea! I loved the execution. It feels reeeally difficult, but in a good challenging way

Very interesting concept and style, good job.

This was an awesome game! And i love the reactive audio. Sadly it was a bit hard for me; i've never played any instrument in my life, but i still enjoyed it very much! Trying to solve a puzzle while it sounds good as well. Awesome! (It would mean a lot if you would rate my game if you have the time)

Can do!

Super creative! Honestly would be surprised if this isn't at least mentioned in the vid

This game is very fun to play and all the art is really polished, especially the UI.

THAT WAS SO FUN!!! Literally one hour ago I got this exact idea for a game, but you nailed it! I have no idea how you managed to make it sound so good with the paths I created. And I loved the low sound of the red blocks! Amazing job

very unique take on the theme!
I loved to discover the mechanic to creating multiple platforms at the same time.
this leaves me wanting for more levels.

I loved this idea so much! Definitely felt excited figuring out the puzzle every level, it left me wanting more!

This is an incredibly good looking game with great sound design. I'd recommend updating the description ASAP to explain how to play cause it took me a while.  If you ever update it, making more complex levels (maybe that travel horizontally more) would be cool. Great job!

I love the visuals.

I'm kinda confused what the difference between the reset and stop buttons is, both of them remove all your notes. The controls feel a bit clunky for someone not used to playing keyboard.

As a general rule of thumb, remember that in games, the difficultly should be figuring out a solution, not inputting it. Making it difficult to input solutions once found makes the game significantly less accessible to the disabled and frustrating to everyone.

The player just kind of gets dropped in without any idea what to do. There definitely needs to be some level of tutorialization.

I think it might help  if you had a record mode where you could just input notes as it loops so you could do part of the arrangement every loop, the reset button would clear all of your notes, and a play mode where your character is actually spawned in. Something that invites the player to actually start moving.

Fantastic art. Cool concept. The UX is just a little rough. Overall, good job.

Brilliant idea.. It took me a bit time to figure out what to do but this concept can be very interesting. Looking forward to see a polished version.

Developer

Thanks for playing! What should we polish in the future?

Mainly UX, it took me sometime to realize that i could hold pressing the key, initially I was pressing and releasing.. Things like that...

But also some levels can be refined. For instance, in the first level there is no need to wait for the recorder after it passes the key. It feels like wasting time since it does not contribute to creating the platform. With a more cosy vibe (stardew valleyish), this game can be a really calming, wholesome experience :))

Super unique and creative, what a stellar entry!

Really unique concept! I loved figuring out what my platforms were gonna be before I did it. Also the moment I figured out that you need to do chords really sold it

i found this pretty fun! i liked having to figure out how to time things perfectly to be able to get up to the other keys.

i haven't seen a game idea like this before, this felt original and creative (and still fits the theme well!)

the game looks pretty polished, a lot of the art is really good and everything felt like it fit together well
