Very cute little builder, I hope you keep working on it!

Your art choices are appealing, and your idea is workable. People want more games just like this. If you complete this idea you'd likely make some game enjoyers pretty happy.

"Mouse team leader report, week 1. Of the three of us which have landed on Venus, I'm the only one left doing any work. My two crewmates have succumbed to the intense solar rays, which melted the cheese the had for brains. All they do now is run around in circles on the rough Venusian floor."

"Mouse team leader report, week 2. Three new mice have arrived, and despite there being two idle factories, they just stand around looking scared. Probably wondering if their brains will melt if they touch the factories which were once assigned to my former roommates."

Spoiler alert: team leader's brain melted shortly after. :-)

Apart from seeing my mice go crazy, this really is a cozy little builder game. Well done!

Developer

“The infamous mice team has never been seen again. All that’s left are the now empty factories, as the rumors about their… influence on workers have spread widely across the solar system.”

Fortunately, I have developed a way of protecting the mice from solar rays. The new equipment will be deployed shortly after the jam ends and even more will come in the future. Feel free to follow!

I really enjoyed the art style of this game. Very creative concept, well done!

Cute art and music ! I had a hard time figuring out what exactly to do in order to progress, maybe some objectives could incencitize the player at least in the beginning. My mice would sometime glue together and spin around like a ratking i don’t know if it is intentionnal but that could become a nice gameplay mechanism that forces you to distance the workstations to avoid that from happening !

Developer

Nahh, that's definitely not intentional. It turned out to just be a precision error on the web export :(

Cute automation game! I liked placing down buildings and expanding my area, however my game was cut short halfway through and froze on me unfortunately! Not sure what happened, but I liked playing through :)

Sounds a bit weird but thank you for making this game and posting even though is not finished. I've learned something with your game.

Developer

I’m curious, what did you learn? :D I’m very glad you enjoyed it

I like the gameplay idea, the art and the music. Is the game meant to be like empire or village building with the goal of growing and exploring everything? I'm quite curious to see what the game will look like when finished. I think the next thing you could do is adding some guide of what the goal is, and a motivation for the player to carryon building. Like they need to build a shelter to protect themselves from something

It looks fun and the concept is nice but I can't really generate any ore after the first couple buildings

Submitted(+1)

The art is really good,

I didn't really understand how to control my villagers at first. Afterwards the game is cool ! GG

Small bug when we cancel a construction we still lose the money.

Echoing Dysfunc, the art style is immacculate. I really liked the vibe, but it did feel slow at times!

Art direction is great!

My mice just kept spinning after a while.

Really like the core idea of connecting everything for the mouse king :D but he is very slow too much cheese?

Well done on submitting

Gorgeous visuals. You might want to add in your game description a small “first steps” tutorial, just to say that you need to place the first free mine near the two existing building and core (it took me some trial and error to understand). Otherwise I am really impressed by the level of polish.

I love the visuals, but i cant progress the game after putting a mine (the mouse just goes to the mine and back but i get nothing)

Developer

It's possible that you put the mine too far away from the main magazine? I'm sorry I didn't prepare for this situation, I didn't have any time to playtest the game

Submitted(+1)

I love the looks!

This game looks so good! I really want to play it but I can't seem to do anything after placing down the first free mine. I pressed every button and keyboard and combination I could think of!

Please mine, mice of mine :(

Ah, I see the mine doesn't need to go on the mine itself and needs to be close enough for the drone to transport goodies. Yes...mice of the mine...

Developer

Thank you!

That's some valuable info for me, because you found another way to break the game so I have to fix it :D

Nice design and music! I like the base building gameplay! unique idea.

Submitted(+1)

I really love the design of this game, the music is really cute too! The rats tend to kind of just... spin sometimes? But other than that it's a pretty fun starcraft-like base builder!

Submitted(+1)

The 3D models are amazing! The gameplay is slower than ideal but this game has some of the most potential I've seen. Please keep working on it if you can, great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I have many updates in mind for this game :)

i know you said that there were _lots of bugs_ but my playthrough was bugfree! really nice art style you managed to create and clear inspiration from satisfactory which is one of my favorite games. would love to see a continue of this after the jam!

Developer

Actually I've never seen Satisfactory, my inspiration was Factorio :D I have many more things that I wanted to add to this game, so stay tuned if you're interested!
