The concept is really unique!
I needed some time to get used to the controls, I thing you need some patience here :D But I can see how a game with such a mechanic can be a blast. And the idea of yoyo+knight is awesome, it is something you won't expect :)

Very cool idea! Great interpretation of the theme. Its a lot of fun, but i struggled a bit with they keybindings. In my head the jump button was SPACE, but its scaling the yoyo. I loved the moment when you yeet an enemy into the pit :D The sound effects are 11/10. PRAISE THE YOYOOOO

Fun idea! Game feel was great, I liked the platforming sections more than the enemy bits. This makes me want to go ahead and make my diablo game idea haha

Insanely creative idea. The design language was really clear, pretty much spelling out exactly what you needed to do, and the last puzzle was an especially neat culmination of all the yo-yo shenanigans you've been using up to that point. The yo-yo itself is also an incredible feature, being so flexible and useful. My only complaint is that I wish the yo-yo resizer button was on RMB instead of space. Had quite a few moments where I resized my yo-yo instead of jumping out of habit! Fantastic game nonetheless. Awesome job!

Loved the game, but I was constantly tripped over by trying to jump with Space, dying at least a couple of times this way :) nice nonetheless. Never seen a game with a yoyo theme :D
I absolutely loved this game. I had reservations about having a boss level because I was having fun with the puzzles but I sat through it and finished it and that definitely sells!! Kudos!

the controls take a bit of getting used to but once you get a hang of it it's an amazing concept, love the platforming being built and designed around the growing yoyo
The yoyo gave me terraria vibes and I loved it. My only issue is the yoyo grapple/ enlarge to pull yourself up is a little finicky at times but aside from that good game!

This is a different team member from makegamergirls. This was super impressive! The controls never fully clicked for me, but mechanically I love the idea and the light action-puzzles were very satisfying. I have a running joke with people about adding a boss during a game jam and how it's a disastrous idea, but you pulled it off!
I really like the creativity of this implementation according to the theme! The scaling yoyo is a simple fun concept in this platformer and the level design fits this gimmick quite well.
