Wow, wow, wow. Finally a biology game that feels more inspired by reality and more informative. Had a blast playing this, although I didnt get to 80 micrometers. Keep up the great work. I feel like if you work more on this game and polish it further, it could do really well on phones.

How does your game fit the theme?
the game is involves growing in scale to get an advantage in combat. The game also is built to the scale of micrometers as the cells expand in diameter

"King of primordial soup simulator". Nica game, went into it thinking it would an osmos clone, really liked that it went into different direction.
Would love to see different Icon for antibody pickup (rn it looks very similar to 0 when zoomed out).
Question - is scale capped at 80μm?
Love the game, it's giving me agar.io vibes and I love it, a minimap could be useful maybe just to know where I am but otherwise great game
I love the aesthetic and music of this game and the premise is really cool! It's pretty difficult though, I rarely find anything on the map and when I do find something, it's usually another cell that's already gotten much bigger than me. Really like the concept of the game though!
I love that it's very smooth overall, aswell as the music and sounds. Very soothing!
This is really cool! I love how satisfying it looks to absorb other things!
Hey, awesome job! This was a really well thought out and well executed game. I'm amazed at how polished everything is and feels. I had a really great time playing, and played it over and over again!
Ultimately I managed to get pretty big one round, such that no one could rival me, and then I died suddenly? I'm not really sure what happened, I wasn't even consumed by someone. Suddenly my health shot down really low and everyone started hunting me, then I died. Was there a cap to how big you could get? Regardless, I had a lot of fun!
Your visual language was very clear, I liked the info I got from mousing over things and the info on enemies and such. The visuals were great, the sound was great, the petri dish felt very full and active with other cells fighting each other. Everything was really well put together.
A few (minor) notes:
When you're really small, sometimes you can travel for a good while without encountering anything. That's not the most engaging, and also a lack of visual indicators makes it feel like you might not be moving at all.
There were little red comet looking things? I'm not sure what those were. Even just a small block of text, either on the website or before you start, that explains what things are (was there a limit to the number of power ups you could hold? At some point it seemed like I stopped picking them up but I didn't know why. I guess that's why expelling them is an option?) or how the combat works (I was surprised to realize that things smaller than me could kill me if I was already injured).
thankyou so much for the feedback and for playing the game. I have now realised that not everything in the game was as intuative as we thought it would be.
those red floating dot are called 'antibodies' and they will attack and damage other cells (kind of like defencive homing missiles). you are correct about there being a size cap for the player, you cannot exeed 80um. also yes, the bigger you are, the more cell parts you can carry, additional cell parts will not be picked up.
thanks again for playing the game, it means a lot to us that people were able to enjoy what we made.
We had the cell microcosm as a brainstorming idea, Im glad someone else did it, looks really cool. You could make the background give a bit more indication of movement but overall great job.
Very Fun game, relaxing when it needs to be and a nice game to burn time. I think stylisticly its a bit simple and some additional animation ("wind/water" streaks, or shape of outercell pulling back) when "sprinting" would take it to another level. A prescreen or introduction screen to what would help in a fight/convergence would help players, sometimes I was confused why I lost even though I was watching my healthbar and thought I'd win the fight. Overall a really great game with lots of good attention details in such a short amount of time. Well done!
Wow, i really loved playing this game
the graphics and the music fit SOOO WELL togheter, fantastic
a really simple but creative take on the theme and on the agar.io-like games
only thing: at first i thought i wan't moving, because of the absence of bk colours, but i don't know how you could fix it, but still, the game is really polished and amazing to play
im sorry that happened when you were playing. unfortunately, it can be hard to tell when you are taking damage in the game which can make it feel like your are randomly dying. also, yes thats correct, the red moving things will attack you when they touch you. thankyou for your feedback and for playing.
I like the idea about cell, but smth I just randomly die, lol. Still love the game, tho
Very relaxing game! Gives me a lil nostalgia for playing CellCraft when I was a kid C:
Great work ^_^
Love the soundtrack, Like really really love the soundtrack, It fits so well and makes the whole experience deeply calming
