I'd love to see this with mouse controls and see a bit more feedback that we're growing bigger. Leaning more into Agar.IO would be really fun for this game!
Looked cool, and a nice idea but I ate 65 stars and never got any bigger. Also tank controls in 2D are horrible, half the time you're pressing left to go right and vice versa. Nobody has the muscle memory for that.
Wow really looks spacey and cool, I have got to know how you made the background, controls are perfect for this type of game but (maybe this is a bug) I didn't even grow when I collected the points and my sclae point went up, that would have been cool
Agreed that the juice is very nice! I love the clean, parallax background of stars. Has strong agario vibes
Nice Art !
You've nailed the basics, loved the art, and the game had plenty of juice
I love the visuals style. Great choice for a color palette, cute little black hole! I just didn't have the impression to grow as I was cruising along munching on puny little stars.
I like the art and sounds! Interesting idea for the jam!
Interesting control scheme. The art is nice and the SFX is really satisfying.
cool game! I like the blackhole sprite
Woo, space game! Love the clean color palette and sound effects.
Got 61, it's similar to my game, I like the plucking sound and the effects, I think the game is a bit slow to get going, even at 61 it was hard to see if I was growing. Over all it's pretty good.
I like the multiple layers in the background for the parallaxing effect
