I never though 2048 was the kind of game that could have a twist like this made on it but I’m impressed! It really changes how you play and I think it works really well with your artstyle. The isometric look with up/down/left/right controls is a little odd but the controls are so simple that I think you get away with it well. Gorgeous entry to the jam and good fun. I think I’ll be coming back to this one to try and see what assets you’ve cooked for the bigger slimes!

Really cute game! It’s hard to know which holes are going to be what length without just trying, so solving some puzzles seems to be more random luck than problem solving. Love the lil sound the guys make when you solve a puzzle! Congrats on your entry!

Love me some juicy zombies. Very satisfying to make them pop.

WOW this is already a fully complete game. Well done for the jam and a very unique take on the theme with gorgeous artwork to back it up. Not to mention the sounds! The voice acting! The music that changes when you find something spooky! Absolutely brilliant.

Serious props for getting such interesting mechanics working well in such a short time. The in-game tutorial helped A TON for figuring out what to do, but I had to take a look at the pictures for the game to figure out the best practices. Really neat idea you have here!

The backstory for this one is nuts. I love the clean style and the gameplay is great once you get the hang of it. Feels great to jump up as an adult and fly through the ring as a fetus. It’s kind of a crazy flex that the model smoothly interpolated between everything and the animations react as it scales. Love the take on the theme I just wish the game was longer.

Such a cute platformer! It’s a little difficult to control the scale of stuff precisely. It goes so quickly that I end up just toggling between max and min. Not sure that’s intended but it makes “climbing” by hopping up and down on a block really hard. Very calm vibes from this game, I like it.

Thanks so much for the thorough playtesting. That level 12 bug is a funny one, I hit it myself but only after the submission deadline  And yeah the loading times are nuts because the entire game is crammed into a single scene in godot. It was quick to throw together but something more robust would have helped a tad. Seriously, glad you liked it and thanks for taking the time to provide such helpful feedback!

The scaling sound went through a few iterations with different notes and instruments before settling on this so I’m glad that paid off. The music was a super last minute addition so none of us had time to get sick of it XD. That’s great feedback though, thanks for the kind comment!

Woah thanks for the kind words! We had precious little time for playtesting but you have kryppers, zelo and simi to thank for throwing together the pacing. Glad you liked it!

Thanks for giving it a go! Glad you enjoyed :)

Might be one of the juicier games I’ve played in the jam. It’s vary satisfying to line up a shot while drifting and let momentum take me to the right spot to land the hit. Not sure why I’d ever use LMB shooting, seems that just bounces stuff around while the charge shot is always a one hit kill. The SFX and music are wonderful and fit the visual style to a tee. Very well done!

Woah love the twist on the classic snake. It took me a second to pick it up but having which block is the head of the snake control what abilities you have is very elegant. I wish there was a better way for me to plan ahead with picking stuff up, because as is you really have to take what comes and deal with it when you end up with 5 point increasers in a row. Overall it’s very satisfying to manage your size by blowing stuff up XD

Absolutely insane flex to do this in your own engine. The sound definitely gets a little crunchy when your base gets really big but it honestly helps to sell the scale. It’s very satisfying when a ton of the enemies are grouped together to crush them all by sacrificing a block. Ends up being quite the frantic battle in the end and I’m all for it. Very well done!

Woah this one is really cool. It’s super satisfying to swoop in to an island and start shooting the frog guys up.

Really neat mechanic of making the whole island scale down as resources are distracted, though it was kinda disorienting at times flying in to an island only to find it much smaller than I remembered XD but it’s all good fun.

It was hard for me to know why I could sometimes not place more turrets. I suppose there’s some kind of limit but idk what the 125 means.

Great job and congrats on your entry!

I love town building games so this adorable game is right up my alley. SUPER well polished for the 96 hours but could definitely use an in-game tutorial as mentioned. I like how there isn’t any grid to place stuff on, that’s quite refreshing actually. It’s very satisfying to watch all the guys run around doing their little jobs, I think you could do a lot to give them more personality and make them almost like pets XD Very well done!

Gorgeous game! The artsytle is super cute with all the toy blocks and not to mention how clean the assets actually are. I love how scaling your wheels up and down is used to steer, but I agree with the other comments that it’s a bit difficult to get used to. Overall very well polished and a great take on the theme.

Agreed that the juice is very nice! I love the clean, parallax background of stars. Has strong agario vibes

They style is wonderful, though the enemies seem unforgiving and I lose track of how much light I’m using. It feels very rewarding to sneak past stuff and get to the door! Well done for the jam!

Holy smokes this is a cool one. Perfectly scratches my type 2 civilization itch. Would love to have more tools for terraforming (astroforming?) and some kind of factory assembly type stuff so it really feels like you’re harvesting. Looking forward to playing the full game ;)

The sounds are incredible! I had a good laugh when the guy first popped out of the window to swear at me. I do find the controls a little clumsy, but I’ve never had a knack for jump heavy platformers. Overall very well done and a great twist on the typical tetris mechanics to fit the theme.

Very clever puzzles from a simple mechanic, well done! I love the sfx of scaling stuff up and down.

Blast of a not-bullet-hell-but-enemy-hell. I find myself wanting to bank turns while keeping speed to bonk glorps that I just nearly miss. It’s so satisfying to land a hit though, well done!

Super clean style! Simple mechanics yet very clever puzzles, and a LOT of room to expand into a full game ;)

Absolutely gorgeous game. I love the variety in all the different characters and it’s a very interesting take on the theme. I agree with littoralie that having some overarching storyline could help tie things together, but y’all did great writing so much already in the time given.

Love the style of this one! I could see it being scaled out to have more puzzles with multiple or taller towers. Agreed that the sound effects when grabbing folk are brilliant.

Love the concept of expanding rooms but it’s very hard to tell when I get damaged without keeping an eye directly on the health bar. A little bit more juice and this could be a blast of a roguelike.

The flesh must grow! Could see this being expanded into a very gory puzzle game. I love how satisfying it is to setup a kill and click into the next cells really quickly to execute it.

Gorgeous game! It’s chaotic but somehow very zen. I didn’t have much trouble keeping under weight but man is it tough to fit new stuff in xD

Woah! Well done in the time you had. I think you’ve got something worth scaling up outside of the jam ;)

Really neat concept and twist on platforming that makes for some interesting puzzles

This is wild yeah. Absolute work of art

There’s a lot that can be explored here, but I was pretty overwhelmed with how quickly the bullets started flying. Agreed that the art is great! It gives me cell phone pong vibes

Very cool idea. Perhaps you could teach the player they can climb on the robot by forcing them to do so to get up in the first place. I was very confused as to how to get on top of the first obstacle.

Super neat concept making different maze components out of actual electrical components. It feels like you could expand on this a lot to get some very interesting puzzles. Hopping through the resistors is interesting but it I could see it getting tedious with more complex top level mazes though.

Love the audio cues on where the rocks are going to fall. It’s very satisfying to watch the vertices on the rat pop out one at a time as the little guy gets bigger.

The cellular automata chasing you is super slick. On thing though, with all the mines, cursor and other dots being left around it’s pretty easy to lose track of the player. All the upgrades are super fun and it feels great to be unlocking stuff as you go.

If you’re wearing the hat you can scale yourself in the same way you can scale the blocks in the level ;)
