Cool concept, I had fun with it. Very satisfying seeing your creation demolish the attackers.

I had a great time with all those lazers! :) Very fun. Nice game! :)

Feel free to check out my game, Tinker Escape :)

Like the TD concept with a twist. It is now like a game for people who love to see the foes got smashed by million free guns (which is fun, TBH). I would imagine the a cost system would make the game slightly more strategic.

Quite a fun and polished entry!

Gameplay-wise, I think, having a currency system or something that prevents me from spamming all the guns would make it more strategic.

Also, since you have a variety of weapons with different abilities, having in-game descriptions would be nice because when I started playing, I had already forgotten everything. And maybe the enemies could have different weaknesses but that’s probably outside of the scope of the jam.

I liked that the enemies got smaller so you have to place towers of all sizes.

Nicely done!

fun game! spamming a lot of tiny guns near the wave spawner was a lot of fun! i liked the extra detail of how the enemies got smaller while they were losing health. good work!

scaling enemies to be too small for strong towers to hit was a neat mechanic for the theme

Really fun concept and game!

Simple concept but I really liked the way you setup how to create the level. Very fun way of doing it. I do wish the level itself didn't have the effect on it that it has, felt like a bit much, but other than that, fun twist on TD games. Well done! Thanks for making this game!

Sounds and simplicity of the visuals are nice. One question, what's to stop me from making an infinity of tiny guns, seems like that would always win? Regardless, great work!

Thank you for the feedback!

At the moment, nothing, really. We kept it as more of a sandbox for now, due to time constraints. So, currently you can either challenge yourself, by winning with the least amount of towers possible (see the statistics on the Win Screen) or just have fun building intricate mazes with the given towers.

i feel like this game would work better if everything has a grid, the tower sizes too, there are to many sizes the towers can be in

additionally the shader makes me a bit nauseous

but it is an interesting idea

Submitted(+1)

love the shader effect on the background! and yes to mimic what everyone else is saying it's a great game just missing some way to limit how many towers you can place.

I really like this game, the visuals are nice, the take on the theme is good (the fact you need small turrets and can't just use max sized one is 👌) well done! It just needs a limit on the number of turrets haha

Great game, great design and great concept. Can definitely see myself playing this for longer if there were existing levels that increased in difficulty and a cost/balance option were you only have so many credits to buy towers for that round (similar to bloons).

Great concept! Would have loved to see predefined levels with rising difficulty but that would have been too much to ask for with the time constraint. Especially loved the background music, although the sound effects themselves can get a bit messy sometimes.

Deffinitely unbalanced and the smallest enemies seem to be able to pass through without being detected by any of the turrets. However it was still ejoyable to build patterns of destruction and watch  the enemies get blasted.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Did you build the smallest possible towers? They should easily be able to target the smallets enemies, and I don't seem to be able to recreate your issue.

Submitted

Yes if they go to the sides even just a little bit they don't seem to get detected at all. I used a row of each of the towers

Developer

Oh wait. Did you scale the towers? You can scale them with the scroll wheel. The default size ist too big for the small enemies.

Submitted(+1)

Ah I did not, I did not discover that mechanic. Now I understand why  was havig so much issue! Completely my fault haha.

Great game, the game got a bit easy once I figured out I can spawn camp the triangles with a barrage of guns but otherwise really fun game

Great TD game, nice style!

Great Game! the idea is great and gameplay if very fun

Submitted(+2)

Great job! I would add some restrictions and rewards - say, towers cost coins and enemies drop coins, but it's just an idea. Really cool visuals!

Very fun! I would like to see the economy system but the game is great
