Wow incredibke puzzle game and the art was off the charts. I fely like a rabbit but god it made progression much easier on my pea size brain.

Interesting! A cool little puzzle game. I like how the scale-gun mechanism works and it plays into the puzzle well.

I thought the dialog SFX was slightly too aggressive and the main character's jump was a bit OP but other than that, nicely done!

I really like this, the idea is good and the story is really cute but I can't really say I enjoy the game itself bc the game just feels really unfair and hostile, I feel like it's actively working against me 70% of the time.

There are moments where the jank physics do something really cool and I feel amazing and then something stupid kills me (or that one box with the acid sliding on the ground in a way that makes it so i can't jump on it correctly after i push it, because the jump control is nonexistent, so i just had to jump in the acid and hope the damage didn't kill me before i could jump out) and I really want to enjoy this game because it's really nice but the game just feels too unfair to play and i constantly feel like i'm fighting against it. im still gonna finish it bc the art and story is really good but i couldn't ignore the issues here sorry :')

obv there was limited time so you probably didnt have the time to iron these things out but man

anyway really sorry ^^;

I'm sorry for these issues :( I would definitely patch them out if I was not so ill

Yeah that's understandable :'D get better soon (or glad you're not sick anymore if you aren't still sick)! Either way I hope you in good health and good luck to all your future games <3

Very cool idea, nice art and I really liked the narrative and unexpected turn, really cool!

The jump physics were inconsistent for me, sometimes it jumped super high and allowed me to finish the first level without even grabbing the scale gun lol.
Good job anyways!

The concept and implementation was awesome. Characters behind the glass were executed perfectly and eye movement was a cherry on top. The puzzles were interesting and the mechanic was perfectly fitting with the theme. I really enjoyed the game but one small downside was the "beeping" sound when Amy was talking. Although it is fitting, I disliked it a lot. Other than that I can't say anything bad or suggest any improvements. You did a amazing job.

Thank you so much for this comment! I'm glad you liked it. Yeah the talking sound could use some tuning I agree. But my taste was a bit off during the illness. I love you.

This was a fantastic interpretation of the theme. There was a great synergy in all of the mechanics– I especially loved that you could shrink the enemies, stomp them, then expand their bodies to use as a heavy object. Really brilliant stuff. My one critique is that the jump velocity was a bit too intense. It would have felt more in control if the jump reached the apex, but in most cases I hit my head against a wall or the top of the screen. And from a QOL perspective, it would have been nice to click to autocomplete the dialog type-in effect. But none of that takes away from the excellent puzzle work and smart mechanics. Great job, and congratulations!

Thank you for such an extensive review! That was very kind of you!

Wow this is pretty cool! The background art is incredibly good. And the mechanics are really creative. We thought of only some of these while developing our game, but didn't get to implement them.

nice graphics but jump is too mighty.

The character movement is a little bit uncomfortable. And I don't know if this may be an issue for my device only, because the character jumps extremely high.

But with technical issues aside, I find the puzzles are well designed, even though I couldn't complete the entire game. And the art is good. Well done.

Developer

Thank you! Yes, there were some problems with a physics-based movement system, which forced your character to do a double jump on certain occasions. I'm glad you liked it otherwise

Was attracted to this game by the Portal reference and it did not disappoint. The pixel are is super good and the visuals are overall very polished, I love the concept. Great job!

I loved the story elements and had a lot of fun with the puzzles! The physics were a bit janky but that's entirely forgivable - really solid game overall!

Game has a lot of love and passion poured into it. I love the art of background character so much.

I love the atmosphere of this game! It really feels like you're being watched over in a little science lab. Unfortunately I only got to the fifth level, as the physics are a little finicky at times. Nailed it on puzzle design and sound design, though. Very nice!
