I really loved the game a lot! The atosphere and visuals were amazing, and the idea for the mechanic iss also really good! I really like how the difficulty scales up fast, and quickly gets to a point where you feel overwhelmed!

Editing this: I'm an idiot, I didn't realize it was product I was trying sum for everything! What a fantastic game, great work!

This game is awesome! Love the atmosphere and presentation. I think I kept running into a bug or didn't understand something. On a lot of the larger tickets, like 48, I'd place the dice but it just won't seem to register. For the most part I was ok with smaller orders though.

That said, awesome, awesome work! Really great job!

Developer

Thank you!
The product vs sum actually turned out to be a very common problem, we should have elaborated on it a bit. Thanks for some valuable feedback!

This game is a STUNNING! It is a ten in every aspect. The idea is incredible, a simple concept implemented in an original way. The setting dresses up the whole game. Even visually it is impeccable for a game made in 48 hours. My maximum score was 9 because for some mysterious reason I forget the multiplication tables while playing :S I trust you will be in the top 100! Good luck and congratulations!

Thank you so much!

This is probably my favorite from all the games I've tried.

I really like how all aspects of the game from the piling backlog of math problems to the ambience and presentation work so well in harmony to reinforce this stressful feeling of dread.

I'm not sure if it was intentional that I could just fill the table with the order cards in order to avoid losing, but I feel it kinda added to the feeling of stress seeing the massive pile of cards on the table and having to try to solve them at the same time.

Damn great work.

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment!
Yeah the table getting more chaotic as the orders start to pile up, was definetly intentional. We also added a limit to a total amount of tasks, so it's still possible to lose even if you have empty hooks.
Glad you liked the game.

I was really reminded of playing You Can't Do Simple Maths Under Pressure, which as it sounds, is a game about doing simple math problems under a time pressure. Throwing in a spooky atmosphere, specific challenges, and finite random supply of numbers for your solution puts it to the next level! I was only able to make it as far as 6 before feeling overwhelmed lol

Cool game !
Loved the whole design & atmosphere. The music & sound fit the whole ambiance perfectly

The gameplay is easy to understand yet challenging.

Not much to say in terms of feedbacks. It's all pretty well rounded already.

Great work :)

very atmospheric game!!!!! I like the idea very much and art is awesome, but I can't pass the tutorial. I quess im dumb. or maybe It's a bug, but still!!! very cool.  (u need to make all three dices in summa be 7? (because as u say if u pick one of the dice outside the plate it will be broken because of bug). it seems pretty diffucult, but as I said, I quess I just misunderstood the rules

Developer

Hi there! To complete tasks you need to put proper dice on top of the card. The bug with broken dice only happens when you complete the task by picking dice up (for example if you had a card that required a sum of 7 and dice with values of 4, 3 and 5 on top of it and then picked up a 5), it's a rare situation, you don't really have to worry about it.
If you're still interested in figuring the game out we have just uploaded a gameplay trailer on our itch page from which you can learn the rules.

In any case thanks a lot for playing!

Thank u for explanation very much!!! I will try to play this game later

Took me a couple tries to get used to the game's mechanics, but once I did I really enjoyed it. The art style and atmosphere felt a lot like the game "Inscryption" which is one of my favorites of last year so you get major points from me for that. Great job.

Only problem I ran into was once I completed my 15th order, my cursor just vanished and I couldn't complete any more.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your comment!

Yeah, unfortunately some bugs slipped into the final version. The one with the cursor happens when a die goes into the recipe while in hand and can be avoided by not stacking more then 9 cards on top of one another. Sorry, for the inconvenience.

It's all good. You still made a great game in such a short time.

Amaaazing presentation! It gets hard quite quickly but I enjoyed it a lot! :)

wtf this is an easy 5 star presentation, very impressive! Love the atmosphere you created, what could've been a generic dice roller has become a life or death situation. Congrats!!

Great presentation and atmosphere and I enjoyed the loop.

Agreed with others that being able to stack on the table takes the tension out of the game. I'm wondering if there's a creative way to disincentivize that besides just having a limit on it though. Maybe per-card timers or some kind of punishment, like your dice don't respawn unless your table is clear.

Thank you for the feedback!

Our idea was that by dragging cards from the hooks immediately player will have hard time organising them on the table, but yeah that doesn't feel like enough.

In the future we are considering placing a limited amount of slots on the table in which player can put cards on top of one another. This way each time you want to take the card from the hook you have to pick a card you will close adding a layer of decision making.

One of the most enjoyable games from the jam so far. Extremely atmospheric and fun gameplay.

Altough I agree with the comments about the difficulty spike which is a bit too steep.

Submitted

Nice idea and cool presentation. It gets hard very fast, maybe the difficuly should ramp up just a little slower. Also, it would add a lot of the dice in the tray were guaranteed to lie flat after a roll, so jo can see what you get.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, difficulty is a bit too much, we were afraid to lose player's interest by giving too many easy tasks and might have overtuned it. Glad you liked the game.

very nice art. gameplay is well executed with the minor exception of dice getting outside of the camera's view

Your game have a really good ambiance, atmosphere. Reminds me of Incryption of course. I love it, great job!

This was a masterpiece.

The mechanics, the art style, the sounds. All great.

The game fit the theme, and even with a complex matching premise, was very easy to pick up.

Some of the orders, like the ones that request above 30, just aren't feasible. Also, you can stack so many orders I didn't feel as rushed. Maybe only allow us to pull off a few orders at a time.

Perfect score from me.

Thanks for the review!
I belive cards with unfeasible combinations of conditions can't spawn, but there might be a bug with some cards that prevents them from being completed even if all conditions are met, sorry for that.
We are actually looking to continue development on this one and giving player limited number of slots for cards on the table is a great idea, which we will definitely try.

Great game! The art is cool and the puzzle is intriguing.
I only got to 13 orders or so, and then my cursor went away.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Sorry about the bugs, unfortunately we didn't have time to fix all of them.
