Addicting and innovative!

I played for half an hour and had to stop when I reached over 100,000.

I love this game! Despite its simplicity, its gameplay loop is just so… addictive.

10/10 in my book!

Good work! Fun little infinite game, fun to try and get the colors to match up consistently. The movement felt a little strange with horizontal movement and rotation both controlled at the same time, but it works well!

Excellent! This is one of my favorites! Interesting mechanics, spins do come with payoffs and risks, very interesting

Submitted(+1)

the colours just look good really good together

Better than Doodle Jump! Such a clean implementation of the theme. Never saw any score/points on screen (browser version). Very fun and well-paced/well-balanced.

Developer

Thank you so much! If you don't mind what browser were you using? And what operating system? Someone else said the same thing.

Chrome & Windows 10 Home

Cool idea to match the have an endless jumper where you have to match up with the platforms. I couldn't tell what the die numbers meant though, assuming it wasn't just an aesthetic thing.

Developer

Yeah I could have been clearer about that. It starts at six and counts down every time you get a match but resets back to six for a mismatch. Get six matches in a row and you get a big jump boost and a multiplier for your points

Submitted(+1)

Ah, that's cool. I guess I was so bad at the game I never got to the point where that became obvious, lol

Submitted(+1)

As people below me saying, It will be nice relaxing mobile game. I like it.

Submitted(+1)

I'm hooked! Super addicting and fun! Please make this into a mobile game.

Submitted(+1)

It looks good, but with most jumps it just doesn't feel like its possible to match the colors, because the platform is either too close to where your jump ends to react, or the color just doesn't roll to face the platform in time! This is a good proof of concept, but it feels like the controls need a bit of help!

Submitted(+2)

This is an amazing proof of concept. You've taken a super unique hook and really polished it. The only negative I have is that there's not enough of it! more hazards, more consequence for incorrect colour matching, some progression or power ups and you've got a nice little game here! I hope you continue to develop this.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! and I absolutely agree with everything you said! Honestly I had one more day I would have put these things in.

This fun! I love the literal take on rolling the die. It was a good idea to vary the jump height based on alightment, as it forces you to playmore strategically. Great work!

Great twist on doodle jump mechanic, with great readability

Submitted

Cool game, reminds me a lot of doodle jump. Would be useful to stop the player from being able to leave the game screen with some colliders on the sides of the screen. Very simple, very creative good work!

Submitted

A simple, really intuitive and fun mechanic! I liked it! Though if there was a point where the game got harder I don't think I reached it, because it seemed like I could on basically forever.

Great game, love games that are simple but effective.

Submitted(+1)

it was great but crashed

Developer(+1)

Oh interesting! Can you tell me real quick what happened when it crashed? Was it the browser or download?

Submitted(+1)

Browser, I was just playing the game when it suddenly stoppe

Developer(+1)

Thanks for letting me know. I haven't seen that yet so I'll have to track down the bug!

Developer(+1)

Would you mind telling me what browser

Submitted(+1)

Google chrome but I think it was just some random crash

Submitted(+2)

This game was really relaxing. I sat playing fore like 10 minutes feeling that just a minute had passed.

The sounds fit great, the art was simple, but nice, and the overall gameplay was calming.

Just 2 things I would change/fix:

- Occasionally, you can land on a platform and not get boosted up. You just sit there.

- Like Tim Sheinman said, adding some objects that could boost you upwards, or have some effect on the play would be really nice.

Other than those two small things, this game was very well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, I was wrestling with the collision detection for the whole jam. It needs some tweaks still for sure.

Submitted(+1)

Very cool! Smart concept that turns out to be really fun to play! The UI was a tiny bit messy. Well done!

Submitted(+1)

So this is pretty interesting. I like the presentation a lot, in particular the music is great.

I think it would be nice to add some momentum to the spinning object to encourage control mastery.

Also some sort of limitation on turning would be great, like a stamina bar.

Nicely done!
