Cool style theres really strong atmosphere. The enemies are really creepy looking and have a cool movement pattern. A bit hard to get to certain platform sometimes but the controls feel really nice.

Nice platformer, some slight annoyance with hit boxes not letting me clear the platform. The eerie tone is really nice, I love the irregular moment enemies and the spooky noises they make as they approach!

Nice platformer with some solid presentation :)

I was pretty lucky to start with so it took a while before I started getting guardians to really amp-up the game play. I wonder if adding one per-day regardless might make sense to keep the challenge.

Thanks for the feedback! If there was more time I would have added something to pre-guardian Day 1.

Really enjoyed this one I loved the retro aesthetic and surprisingly creepy visual and audio design. The platforming was very satisfying allowing for me to get out of tight spots with ease. Overall enjoyable game with great controls and a cool aesthetic.

This feels very polished! the mood, the vibes, the atmosphere are already set, really love the presentation. The basic gameplay is already solid IMO, just need to keep it interesting every passing days, introducing new mechanics or challenge maybe,  I am sure you have a lot of ideas in mind hehe

Great job, cant wait to see more of this!

Really complete feeling experience. I really enjoyed the Guardian mechanic. They felt fair and balanced but caused constant stress in a good way! I would take a look at tweak the controls however. Made at some slight mantling and have the player fall faster when they let go of jump

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! The duck/slam control was meant to cancel the jump, so I thought a set jump height might be fine.

This game, specifically the guardians, has a creepy pasta vibe to it, and I dig it! I had a lot of trouble doing just about anything in it, but I'm also not great at platforming, so that could have just been me.

Still an enjoyable experience overall!

I think this is a fun game with confusing mechanics. I understand the collecting luck idea, but why place so many die close together if you must wait 6 seconds+ on top of one waiting for the last one to run out? The guardian does add risk but until there is one on the screen (which you can reasonably roll 10+ times without seeing one) there's simply no threat and it's a game of waiting for dice to roll. Nitpicks aside I think you have great platforming physics here and the atmosphere is great. I love the polish on things like in-game controls showing or transitions between gameplay, I can tell you cared about the project looking good and it definitely does. Good job on this one!

Thanks for the feedback! I can see your point about there being no threat at first, but that should only be in the first day. I agree that there might be a bit too much waiting in general... If I had more time I probably would have come up with something more to pre-guardian day 1 to keep it interesting, and possibly also days 2-4 since those don't have many interesting new mechanics.

Your transparency and understanding of the issues I had really go to show that you're a great dev in my opinion. I hope my criticisms helped and I'd love to play an updated version or sequel if you end up making it!

You nailed the design on the guardians, they really freaked me out whenever they got close haha!

I'm terrible at platformers, so I was initially having trouble making the jumps and getting sent back to the beginning.  Once I figured out how to jump higher and dash, I was able to make it to the goal.  I appreciated that falling didn't cause an instant death or make you take damage, since I wouldn't have made it very far if that was the case.

I really like the game vibe, and the constant risk of getting another guardian when rolling dice (I still ended up taking every dice I could).  Nice job!

Thanks! The guardian design took a bit to figure out, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Cool! Really liked the artsyle and the general mood of the game. Felt very polished. My only wish would have been I little more variety in the different rounds/days since it started to feel a bit repetetive half way through. Overall great job!

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking about adding more features to later days, but chose to focus on sound design, polish, and bug-fixing instead.
