Wow I absolutely love the aesthetic here. To stick fully to a color like purple made for an awesome art style! The gameplay was also fun with really cool different spells to sling. I definitely got stuck with the 3 spell which had a really long cooldown and a steady stream of spiders gave me trouble with it. But I really enjoyed this, awesome job!
The art is nice and rolling the dice for a random ability is a cool idea (though one that many people had). The movement feels weird, when I press two movement keys at the same time, the vertical input will just outprioritise the horizontal one, which is really unintuitive to me. Maybe switch to 8-way movement. It would also be cool to have more different enemies and also change the enemy AI so that they don't get stuck all the time.
Great feedback! I was thinking about doing a lot of that stuff but I kinda just ran out of time.
We know how that feels lol
Good job!
Nice idea and really beautiful art!
Just wish there was an indication for when you could fire a bullet, it seemed to take forever at times :O
Really nice!
Nice game !
Love the different weapons. I hate "3" though. All the rest make you feel like a real purple wizard! great game and great achievement :)
Wow this is extremely cool for made in just 2 days, I also really like the art style and presentation.
A few more movement options would be awesome
Cute game! Would've been nice to be able to move diagonally, but otherwise I loved the style and the gameplay!
Nice simple game, I think a little work needs to go into balance and maybe a few tweaks to the movement but over, good job.
Well done for submitting.
I'm not sure if the game was working properly for me, but every ability had waaay too long cooldowns for one and only source of damage you have. A tiny little magic thingy that can't even one shot a spider recharges for like 1.5 seconds. Felt really weird to play becaue of that.
Nice little game! I liked that the abilities are all related to the arrangement of the dice eyes :)
Really whished I could move around as freely as the spiders though (or at least diagonal).
great game, beautiful graphics)
I like the color scheme, how easy it is to identify the enemies and how polished the game is in relation to other games. My problem is that the controls aren't explained which results to at least 1 Game Over while trying to figure out the controls.
i wish you could shoot faster but with less damage, having to wait so long makes it feel unresponsive. other than that, nice art
Couldn't get past the screen that said "rolling the die will give you a random" because everything shifted to the right off the screen, and there was no sideways scrollbar. I assume the menu to get past this was also off the screen to the right, because clicking things, pressing esc or enter did nothing.
this might sound dumb but did WASD keys work? also you have to click f while next to the die to get an ability, which lets you move on
Ok, yeah, WASD worked. I thought it was just a title/instructional screen. I didn't even try to move, beyond clicking around.
lol
I thought it was pretty cool. Good job! :)
Cool! The presentation was good and the screen shake was a nice touch. Well done!
I like the purple art style. We did a similar weapon switching mechanic in our game. I do wish there was a visible time of how long until you could shoot next. Its hard to gauge how long the time is sometimes.
