I win! Got to level 31 on my first try!! Got pretty tight there for a moment though...
Overall pretty cool game! It's actually vaguely similar to my submission though completely different style (mine being fantasy top down shooter where you have multiple spells that are randomly picked). I really did enjoy your weapon system with the random ammo types you would get. I think it was also really smart to include two ammo's at once since it kept the game more engaging and if one didn't work out you could rely on the other while you emptied the other to reload.
My only nitpick is that it was a bit slow in beginning-mid and that there seemed to be pretty much only one enemy (I noticed that they were 1 - 6 and some were faster, but otherwise didn't see a difference). If this game was ever expanded I would suggest more enemies types, maybe a boss, and maybe slightly more character speed.
Otherwise though a truly excellent rouge-lite shooter!! Very good work your team did!!
Congratulations :D and ty for your feedback, I totally agree with it.
It was intended to add some kind of difficulty curve, which is why there are fewer enemies at the beginning. But I agree with you that it is a bit too slow. Unfortunately, the exciting part of the game starts later in the game. Thank you for your feedback though and playing our game.
Cool game, although having some indication of what weapons i had closer to the center would have helped, as I was having to dart my eyes to check my current weapons
I agree with that. Thank you for your feedback.
Nice game :D
I liked how both left and right mouse button can be used for different random weapons which are being changed after a certain amount of time :)
Lvl 31, EZ PZ, Soo much fun dude! loved it! :D
We are glad to hear that. ;)
Loved the effects used, animation is solid, pretty satisfying game loop.
It looks beautiful! Like the leveling up system
Very well executed!
Thx :)
Really liked the art! the concept is really cool as well and having two different weapons at the same time helps when things get a bit predictable over time, overall a really cool experience!
Thank you
I really enjoyed what I played of the game once it really got going (Around level 10 or so for me). However I felt like the feedback wasn't quite right for the random weapons system. It felt like it just worked best to aim in the right direction and shoot no matter what type of weapon I got, like I wasn't reacting to what weapon I got but just what I shot. Also, because of the randomness the upgrades felt much less impactful because I couldn't really build around anything. It was fun, and I love how all of the weapons played, but the random rolling mechanics felt like they detracted from the experience rather then adding.
Ty for your feedback.
I understand your feedback. In my opinion, randomness adds more variation to the game. But I think everyone sees it differently. I agree with you that you just shoot no matter what type of weapon. That might have been solved with more different enemy variations. Thank you for your feedback though and playing our game.
Best game I’vhe played so far, nothing else to say.
Thank you so much!
Maybe consider playing my game I say that I say nothing ^^
Really fun, love the sense of impending dread, chunky gamefeel and progression.
Thank you. And your positive feedback.
Really fun game, a lot of variety in the weapons and upgrades, and looks great
Thanks.
Hah ^^ I played for over 20 minutes and I enjoyed this game absolutely! It hit the right spot in all cases for me. 5/5/5.
Stay crunchy.
Thank you for playing. I am glad that you enjoyed our game so much.
Absolutely! I hope you develope it further and put it on Steam. This deserves much more attention ^^
Stay crunchy.
Looks great! I like how chaotic everything turns after a while because of randomness and guns variety.
Thank you for playing our game. The chaotic factor of the game was recognized very early on, so we wanted to make it even more chaotic with more variations. Good to hear someone likes it. Thank you for your feedback though.
Nice job! I especially loved the aesthetic and all the particle effects
Thank you.
Cool game that looks amazing! My only complaint would be that the hitbox on the player felt too big :). Otherwise, good job!
Thank you for your feedback and playing our game.
Looks and plays great, nice job!
Thank you!
My favourite game so far. Love the art and gameplay, kind of like vampire survivors with dice
That was the idea. Thank you for playing.
This game is cool! I like the multiple weapons (and the sheer number) and the overall aesthetic. It's cool that it's not too fast in a way, so you have time to think about what weapons you have at the time and to use them.
I feel that it could have used some variety with the enemies, and some feedback for the player damage.
We have 6 different enemy types (dices from 1-6). But they only vary on a few parameters. I agree with you that they could have been made more different. I also agree with the lack of player feedback when the player got hit. Unfortunately there was no more time for that.
Anyways, thank you for playing and giving feedback.
This was fun. I like how much variety there is in terms of upgrades. Even though the gameplay is relatively unvaried, there was definitely a feeling of novelty over the course of a playthrough as I unlocked more upgrades. It might be nice to have more feedback when you take damage, but that wasn't a huge problem. Also, the design of the enemies is pretty neat.
Thank you for playing our game and giving feedback.
I agree with the lack of feedback when the player got hit.
