I love that "rolling the dice" acts as a cooldown for your different weapons and forces you to use the other one. This lead to some intense moment.
The art is absolutely great !
Congrats !
Fantastic visuals! Solid gameplay. I wish player had more control over what shoots next though
Thank you for playing and giving us feedback! This is a intentional design. We wanted the players to have no control over what they shoot next. But we wanted to give the opportunity to decide between two shots. Which should give the feeling that the player have a little control after all. It's also the implementation of the jam's theme though.
The box on the left rolled but the box on the right didn't, what was it for? The chaotic fun was really enjoyable, one of the really fun games of this jam. 5/5
It seems like you encountered a bug. Both boxes should roll. We never had this bug before though and it seems like you're the only one who had it. The left box is for the left mouse button and the right box is for the right mouse button. Thank you for telling that there might be a bug with the UI.
Ah I never actually clicked the right mouse button. In that case there's no bug. Thank you!
Honestly really fun, the mechanics are enjoyable and the gameplay feels very crisp. The concept has great potential as well.
Haha power creep go brrrr
I’ve seen a few ‘random shooters’ on this jam, but I really liked how you had the die rolling visibly at the bottom so you could opt for a bit more control.
Slick presentation too :)
I love how snappy and responsive the controls feel, not to mention the reverse-bullet hell idea. it feels cool to be the thing producing tons of bullets, and it becomes super chaotic very quickly.
Thanks for your feedback. No one has given feedback to the controlls yet. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Pretty nice game! pretty polished for sure compared to a lot of games and nice art and music. Nice game in 48h!
I really liked this game! It’s very well made and well polished. Well done!
Thx :D
Wow! So polished and engaging. It fits the theme quite well as well. Congratulations!
Polished, fun, and interesting integration of the theme. Nice job!
Definitely the game that's kept me engaged the longest so far. The gameplay was super simple and satisfying, and I really enjoyed the sound design, made using certain attacks all the more satisfying.
Thank you for playing and the positive feedback. I'm glad you liked it.
i played this longer than any other game so far, it was lots of fun! the art is very well done and the gameplay is satisfying. i didnt even realize i was close to beating the game until it said i won haha, great work!
I'm glad you played it for so long. Thanks for playing and your feedback. Congrats on beating the game though.
The game is very nice looking with cool effects, but I feel like the gameplay was a bit repetitive, so maybe you could have added more enemies or made the game shorter with like 10-15 waves?
Beat the game anyways tho:
We have implemented different enemy variants, which can be seen from the dots on the side of enemies. Although the variations of the parameters unfortunately do not differ that much from each other. Glad to see you finished the game and thanks for your feedback.
This was fun! My only real complaint is the pacing at the start. It started off a bit too slowly for me but it got a lot more engaging once the waves and abilities ramped up. The slow starting pacing did give me enough time to get used to the controls though!
I agree with the pacing. We had a very hard time to balance all this stuff. I'm still glad you kept playing. Thank you for your feedback.
Great game I enjoy it . Some faster pace at the begging will be great. Great Job.
The game is visually beautiful, fun and enjoyable and I can see this being a full fledge game. You did a great job on this one :)
The graphics are cool, the game feels very polished, maybe some knockback would have been nice.
Also, it took a while for me to understand the UI, but once I did, it was a very fun game.
There is a knockback on the enemie when it got hit. If you mean to add a knockback as an upgrade, unfortunately we didn't have time for that anymore. The player also has no knockback when hit, which might have provided more feedback. Thank you for playing though and giving us feedback!
I mean some knockback when you get hit, it was sometimes a little annoying 'cause you got hit by enemies twice.
I agree on that.
The late game feels like so much fun. The overall look of the game is very polished, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
The UI design is very fitting, and this kind of rouge-like loop feels nice to play when combined with the double mouse button's RNG.
I understand that time was the problem here, but I would love to see this get more variety on level design and enemies post-jam. Great job.
Thank you for playing and giving us feedback.
What an amazing submission! Very cool roguelike, with a super unique atmosphere.
