Really nice juicy gameplay. I found the enemy's attacks were challenging to dodge given that the player needs to get into melee range. Some kind of anticipation in the animation as a queue to dodge would've been helpful. I liked the interpretation of the theme, but I found since I couldn't really do anything to affect the outcome of the dice rolls, they didn't really affect my approach to the strategy. Overall nice game, great job!
Well-polished game. A very clever way to implement the theme. Cool pixel art too! For a moment, I thought the gray object in the arena kind of served as a wall for defensive purposes, but it's actually spikes and it caused me a life :D other than that, I had so much fun playing it. Excellent work!
I like the crowd ambience when on the main menu, surprisingly good atmospheric touch. Gameplay was pretty fun, I wish the dice rolls had more of a significant impact on the gameplay, but maybe that would've made it too random feeling. Nice work!
Great job! Love the art style and the overall polish of this game. It was fun to dash around and dice up the enemies. It would've been nice after rolling all the modifiers to have a Next button or something so I can really internalize the buffs/debuffs before continuing (or maybe show them as icons in the game area as well). I also found that the buffs/debuffs didn't change a ton of the moment to moment gameplay. But overall I had a lot of fun, nice job!
Looking good and playing well !
I just wish more people would think about adding the arrow for movement.
Super fun concept, I like the vibes & the pixel arts too. Its like a mini rogue-like experience, its too easy for me but I am sure you can make it more challenging or add more stuffs later.
My only suggestion is add a bit of prompt to "press any key" before continuing the arena, coz sometimes I forget who gets what buffs/debuffs. Other than, really great job!
I wish we could configure the controls to use arrow keys, when you are on a non-qwerty keyboard the player is difficult to move.
The pixel art is great, and the game idea is very fun!
I have to say I enjoyed the crowd cheering me on after each round :D The game is quite fun, and I can see the concept being expanded more with varying weapons etc.
Fun little game! I think it got a little too samey after about 4 rounds, but maybe the life of the game could be extended with more enemy variety early on. Still, had a nice spot of fun with this one!
An example of doing more with less. a bit easy but pretty fun. perfect polishing, charming art and animations and liked the use of the theme.
Good job! keep up the good work! ^^
This was a fun little game. I liked that the stats were based on the rolls at the beginning of the round, great mechanic! The game could go with a little more enemy variety, and it could also be a little more difficult, it felt like it wasn't a challange. Other than that, great game and beautiful artstyle!
The visuals, sounds, and gameplay are polished. Just a few suggestions though.
When rolling the dice, it's much more exciting if it's just one tap to make them all roll, like a slot machine. The buffs/debuffs are hard to notice during the game. Instead of this, I think random powerups would be much more fun. It would be interesting to see how both the players and the enemies using powerups plays out. You could also just make the buff/debuff a lot more impactful, to the extent of being crucial to the player's chances at winning, making for a very challenging gameplay. On the other hand, there is a bug where as the enemies shrink, bullets can still come out of them, which is a little frustrating. No pressure though, the game is already impressive! With just some tweaks, I can see it becoming really addictive.
