I loved animations and gameplay. Good job!
by the way could you play and rate my game?
Simple and fun. I only came across one bug. When I died the music didn't change back after I started a new round.
Glad you enjoyed, sorry about the bug!
I actually had a pretty fun time playing this game. The art was pretty nice and gameplay was simple and easy to understand. I think a slot to save a roll for a later turn would be a nice addition. Good work!
Really cool game !
Liked the gameplay & the animations.
The last fight was really hard compared to the previous ones.
This is a great concept, and surprisingly well-designed given the time constraints. The addition of the 'invest' slot adds a whole new layer of elaborateness to the player's strategy. I'm not sure if it's intended for multiple dice to be able to stack into one slot, but I must say that being able to do so really helped me when I was served unlucky rolls.
Thank you for the kind words!
This game was a ton of fun playing!
there was some wonkyness with audio after my first death and the right slot was a bit confusing (the one that says health for... and damage for...)
over all awesome, great art, fun to play :)
Glad you enjoyed!
Apparently there is a bug where the death jingle loops after playing, my bad!
This was really great! I enjoyed figuring out how to distribute the dice in order to minimize incoming damage and maximize my own assult. It is a little hard to understand at first (in particular, it wasn't immediately clear that the right-side slot weakened the potency of the enemy's actions). But once I got the hang of it, I found myself coming back to it until I beat the last boss.
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Unfortunately I didn't have time to let others test the game much, so while the mechanics were obvious to me, I only found out too late that they weren't so obvious, and that a tutorial / explanation was needed.
Thank you for you comment!
Oh, I totally get it. I get the sense it's a common pitfall jam entries fall into.
The Drag and Click is awful and you can stack multiple dice at a time.
Nice preppy battle music and great sound design (dice and attack sounds are satisfying!). I like how there is multiple different strategies you can do when fighting. Really nice jam game and on theme. :)
Thank you very much!
Wow thank you so much!
This is the best version of this concept I've seen yet.
Thank you so much!
I enjoyed playing though this very much! After defeating the last monster I really wished there was more so I played through it again haha. Armour stacking between fights is kinda OP (as you can easily farm up armour + investments in the first fight) which makes the game pretty easy. Still had a blast playing it!
I'm so glad to know you enjoyed this so much! Thank you!
Ah all your choices feel important and satisfying to make. Very good job!
Thank you!
Cool concept, fun to play.
Simple but cool idea. The last enemy tends to do a lot of damage sometimes and occasionally heals for 50% of his health, but with a bit of luck it's possible to get it done ;)
Thank you for playing!
Really great battling game. Being able to invest made me take a lot of risks and think strategically. I would love a longer version of this.
I'm so glad to hear! Thank you very much!
Nice, I ended up playing it over a couple times :D
I'm so glad to hear that, it means a lot! Thank you!
I like the wizard animation. I played until I died. Nice job. One tip: I think I would have stuck the freshly rolled dice up here somewhere, so the player wouldn't have to drag them so far.
Thank you for the suggestion!
I'll take note of it for future projects :)
We have a pretty similar concept! I like the investment mechanic. I implemented several types of dice in mine but I ended up using only two, one normal and one to simulate wounds, I didn't find a way to add the improved dice (I didn't have time to implement more than one fight anyway :D)
It's too bad you can't stack dice, more so when you reach the third fight where the monster starts dealing massive blows. I really liked the characters' design!
Very cool job. Took a few to figure out that you couldn't stack dice but other then that played really well. Keep up the good work!
